    Great advice about breaks 🙂, I have walked out a couple of jobs like that asking me to put it on brake while I'm working. All the best.

      Apologies for the very late reply. Thanks for your support. Sadly, many companies and especially managers don't have a clue about transport industry and driving rules and regulations. Most of the time they will try to push you, making you things for their own benefit just to look good in the eyes of their bosses so they can be promoted on your hard graft. Just take your brake in good time mate, ignore managers in stupid companies policies. Your tacho card and your Driving Career is far more important. Take care and God bless.

      You should not take any vehicle on the road with defects or being overloaded. You have the right to refuse to take a vehicle on the road and you have the right to report it to law enforcement institutions. God bless

    I am guessing when you said f&&King pump when filling with diesel..that the handle didn't click ..I come across that alot so a tip for you get a piece of wood and wedge it ..I hate holding it when fill up to 500 litre tank.

    • @RobertMihalache
      @RobertMihalache  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for understanding my feeling mate and yes great advice to wedge it with a piece of wood I will try even if the tank of those range between 150-250 litres. Take care pal

    Massive rear overhang on that body, I wouldn't like to be punting that around tight city streets, unless it has a rear steer axle.

    • @RobertMihalache
      @RobertMihalache  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It hasn't got a rear steer axle, just the last axle which it can be lift, but in that case would create even more overhang. So yeah, HGV Class 2 can be difficult at times, and dangerous too.

    • @DaveM_thetrucker
      @DaveM_thetrucker 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The fixed rear axle is a lot better to swing around city streets then a rear steer, as I’ve driven rear steer and rigid steer, n rear steer is more haste and causes more damage

    Hi
    Robert how are you boss
    Just wondering which sat nav you use and what's your best one you recommend if you can send me a link on where I can purchase would be great
    Thanks

    • @RobertMihalache
      @RobertMihalache  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi pal I am good thanks for asking. I am using Igo Primo. I can't say I can recommend a satnav because I don't have so much experience with satnavs but if you want to buy something good look for brand new satnavs that they have got everything you need mate. You can check on amazon, or ebay, or go straight into shops like currys pc world stuff like that. Good luck in finding what you need.

    Always try and take a break earlier than 4.5 hours

    • @RobertMihalache
      @RobertMihalache  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes true. Depends on how long I have to drive. Most of the time I am taking 15’ then 30’ before 4h30’ of driving. 15’ in 6 hours time and the rest of 30’ in 9 hours time if I do multidrop or 4h30’ of driving time is not excedeed. Cheers 👍👍

    Why would anyone deliver products worth 100s of thousands, then get paid less than the diesel they fill the truck with each day.

    • @RobertMihalache

    Shame that professional driver does not know where can be fit external satnav. This law is from 2015

    • @RobertMihalache
      @RobertMihalache  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the view is not obstructed then is nothing wrong with it. 99% of HGV Drivers are having their sat navs in the same spot and is nothing wrong with that as long as your visibility is good 👍
