Great to have your bikes done, only needing minor tweaking at this point. 2025 is going to be a blast doing track days with these two. I'll bet you be more comfortable railing the F3 at the end of a S1000R day out there.
Wish I would’ve known you were there! I was corner working in T1 with the 2014 S1k RR with carbon body work. Had my best day yet at Podium Club but was still running B2 times with a best of 2:01. On the plus side hit a personal best 143.7mph on the straight despite having the pre auto blipper shifter so I had to give myself room to downshift for that hairpin 😉
Yeah that hairpin on a bike with no blipper..... you definitely have to give yourself extra time and space. I had a couple of pucker moments myself on Sunday for that one 😅
@ yea it would’ve been nice to chat as I wanted to thank you for your video on doing the coolant change and learning more about what you’ve been able to do with your 1st gen S1k. Did you move back to AZ or just visiting?
Thx Mutt!! There are definitely a number of places where I can safely improve lap times. I still brake way too early, turn in too early, and I'm slow getting on the throttle. The good news is, for the most part, I know what I'm doing wrong lol
Hey I saw you install the race unit autoblipper on this bike and I see you are using the clutch to downshift... Did you take it off ? If so was there something wrong with it ? ..I have the same bike and I'm looking to get an AB so just wondering what's up . Thanks !
@@BLepore37 I've tried two different blippers on this bike. Neither one worked well so they have been removed. I may try an IRC next. I've heard great things about that blipper.

@@Velocess Absolutely!! It’s why I got the F3. The S1KRR is fun but at the end of the day, it’s exhausting lol.

Fastest or not those track times are still nothing to sneeze at. Keep at it and get more familiar with the track. Im sure you'll get 1:40 or quicker.

Love your videos of your F3! I have two other bikes I usually take to the track but you got me wanting to take my F3. :)
DO I! It's a great bike for the track. As I said, it has nice power and midrange without being arm-pulling, freakishly fast and intimidating.😄
