Hey you are doing amazing Video love it! You also took a video of us with a drone. Today Dec 24 at 12:20pm. 2 jetski one green one Black. Is there any way we can buy that footage for you?
I remember the first time I took my dad’s boat out with him telling me how to do it. I was so nervous and was about a second slow on everything. I stuffed the boat just about as badly as you could and managed to finally get it into calm water waiting for my dad to tell me how badly I did. When I looked at him he just smiled and said he never knew his boat was also a submarine too and at least on the way back in it couldn’t get any worse unless I sunk the boat. I really miss my dad he was the best man I ever knew and a great teacher.
The guy in the mint green safari styled shirt in the Boston Whaler is the most chill and successful captain. I've seen on at least 6 other videos. He is always just cruising out no matter the sea state. I would take lessons from that captain. Small boat no issues.
The Jeanneau captain did a great job at 3:12 showing how to handle a following sea- you can hear him coming off the power at 3:20, and see him falling back, then surfing in as the crest falls away.
I never took a boating course. But the first time i took the helm of a 16 foot fibreglass into a following swell sandbar, i drove just like this out of instinct. I often wondered if i did the right thing. It made sense to back off the power and not ride over the crest of the wave ahead, but also to be ready to power on to ensure the wave behind did not swamp the rear of the boat and potentially turn the boat sideways. When the rear wave did come up i could feel the boat turn a little but kept it steady. I learnt then quickly how boats can get in trouble on breaks where waves double up and ride over the top of one another, at which point i don't think the captain has any option but to power down and hope for the best. I think my instinct came from many years in the ocean surfing and the ability to read the swell. When i watched this i thought the same as your comment, good job, the ocean can be hard.
2:35 Oh Look!!! A boat with flair ... and a nice smooth dry ride! That Scout is a fine looking boat! Somewhat Buddy Davis-ish in style! And that's a compliment!
Vikings are timeless. That 74 is a whopper, we don’t honestly see too many Vikings that big up north either! 50’s and 60’s all day, but that 74 is gorgeous.
We came down to Pompano for my birthday a couple weeks ago when the hurricane force winds were coming through. Bad luck on our part, but the one day it didn't rain, we came down to Haulover Inlet. I guess even the idiots weren't out because there wasn't a single boat and nobody there to film. Ah well I'm glad to have finally seen the famous inlet and hope we'll be back one day when there's better weather.
Merry Christmas. South Coast UK. Looks like Sonny Crocket powering in, but I guess most people these days won't be able to relate to that!!! Showing my age!!
I don't like yachts much, the Scout is the star of today's collection for me. The older guy with the Whaler is on all the time and that man can pilot, he's more relatable as that is all I'd be able to afford to own.
I like your content. Obviously it is easier coming back in than going out especially with all of the swells. I would be interested in seeing some Riviera boats in the videos especially with the stabilizers activated to see how they really perform.
That granchi has a great hull design. I could confidently drive that boat at sea in a massive following sea at some speed, it sprays the wave out to the sides beautifully. If only I could afford one.
The Scarab 38 KV Welcraft will always be my favorite ,but she is also well built to handle the coastal waters. The centerconsole models are very sensitive to splashing and stuffing of the bow, easily taking on water. The Scarab 38 KV has the long and closed bow and wil not take water in so easily. The space in the bow can also be used for protection against the elements.
The "Old Man on the Boston Whaler" is out again. Something tells me he is a Billionaire, and has a very interesting story to tell on a Netflix series....

born and raised in America and im still amazed how many rich ppl are in this country. too many and they make it look too easy. edit: theyre not all living beyond their means when yrs later nothing has been repossessed, homes foreclosed, ect. credit is only easy if you got the income to obtain it.
@@GWNorth-db8vnas do Arabs. It’s not live or die by the sun. Light colored breathable clothing is actually (especially if you have a breeze) cooler than exposed skin Cheers
What Could the Captain Do Differently for a Smoother Pass? Stay home when the conditions on the water are dangerous and listen to the Marine Warnings, Simple Stuff, Listen to the professionals!
While really cool for the viewers (I love the footage, too), I see a new rule from the FAA coming about drone operations like this. It is becoming on the verge of harassment. It’s sad…but it’s also reality. It’s a new technology and the FAA is always keeping an eye on it and how it’s being used. Enjoy it while we can, though! 🤙🏼
There are so many ridiculous laws about drones in Canada that it's not worth owing one. They might have changed it, but you had to be 750 yds from any building, vehicle, human, or animal. That pretty much made Southern Ontario a no-fly zone.
Merry Christmas Eve and Happy Holidays from Haulover! Where is everyone watching from during these holidays? 🌎🎄🎅
Indianapolis,Indiana
England. Merry Christmas 🎅🎄🎁
Calgary. Merry Christmas

0:42?
I didn't see one either.
Yea🤣🤣🤣me too, where was it🤔
All I saw was some well made hulls doing their job
It's there , just look harder

The baby blue Viking is glorious.

I just saw this clip and thought the very same thing! Well said 👍
The old guy in the whaler definitely knows what that boat can do! If I had a choice between all them boats to go thru I would take the whaler!
The Boston Whaler looks like being the one to have.
I appreciate the stunning visual quality! Thanks for the excellent views!
The Jeanneau captain did a great job at 3:12 showing how to handle a following sea- you can hear him coming off the power at 3:20, and see him falling back, then surfing in as the crest falls away.
That's fun in any size boat.

Always good to see The Old Man & his Whaler! And since we've seen him often... is that his commute, or what? 😅
@ 2:18 brotard dropped his beer 😂
Miami Vice Scarab handled that inlet well.
Can't beat some nice stuffing for Christmas 🎄
In other words the yacht was unfazed 🤗
That Viking was a beauty!
Beautiful video.

Another great exit from the Red Top Legend.
Miami Vice 0:20 😂 nice Scarab
🌊Have a wavy, wavy Chrestmas!

These drone shots are remarkable, keep up the good work.
Viking all the way!
Great shots, Wavy . watch that spray. !!
Love the older guy in the whaler giving it hell.
It's a true adrenaline rush watching them!
The Viking IMHO. Timelessly gorgeous.
I didn’t smash that like button until the caption told me to. Friendly reminder helps ❤
I forgot to push the like button until I read your comment. Now its done. Thanks for the re-reminder.🙂
That Scout is awesome!
2024 I hope the owners and passengers enjoy this year better than 2023 and past🙂...
1:36 Legend 👍
I gotta go with the Viking, with that classic design.
Yes. Best yaght around
Like watching paint dry. Which massive yacht was humbled?
Fav= large Vikings 👍
Coming in with the speed of the waves. Smart captaining!!!👍🏻🙂🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Title should read - Massive yacht humbles Haulover - Happy New Year, thanks for tall the great vids. The Viking is gorgeous!
What an EPIC opening of my Fav boat ever! 38KV Scarab gettin’ after it! 😍🤩😍🤩
Merry Christmas!!!😎
Viking was unperturbed by the inlet. What waves? Definitely the best. Merry Xmas to all fans!

I wish Santa had left me that Viking! What a boat!
I'd love to have a Bering yacht someday. That Viking was a monster : ) Great show today.
Merry Christmas. South Coast UK.
Looks like Sonny Crocket powering in, but I guess most people these days won't be able to relate to that!!! Showing my age!!
I was waiting for the stuffing!!!!
All I want for Christmas is blue top, I mean to see blue top
They are in my bed right meow 😉.
Maybe a Blue Top calendar? 😇
That San Lorenzo looked nice going through those swells, but I'll take the Viking.
Best yaght ariund
Great boats merry Christmas

I wonder where the Whaler twins are?
One of them went off to college.
First boat looks alot like the one in Miami Vice.
If I am not mistaken it IS one of the 7 used in the original series. There is another one up here in Grand Haven, MI.
Yss it is
When I saw, Smash The Like Button, I thought that was the name of the boat passing by!
AS a fisherman, I'm gonna have to go with the Viking, something for the wife, lots for me. lol
Viking is primo.
Miami Vice Scarab
I didn’t see where the yacht got humbled
Would get a passport just to take my boat from CanadianFlavored Florida to real Florida just to hit this inlet fer seatrials 😆
Viking 74🤯
If there’s marlin , tuna , dorado , wahoo nearby it’s worth it .
Go out for 2 -3 days 😊
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024.
i cant wait to visit this in gta6

That 47 Viking sport fisherman is my favorite
I'm 95% sure the first boat is the Miami Vice boat..
Yes it is
Peace Keeper should change their name to "P. K.. Stuff and Puff". We are from Huntington Beach Ca. We want to see more BTL Christmas edition please🙂.
That granchi has a great hull design. I could confidently drive that boat at sea in a massive following sea at some speed, it sprays the wave out to the sides beautifully. If only I could afford one.
Viking mi fav
No love for the legend?
haha saw him as well , flawless as always. and always dressed in fancy pants and shirt.
No matter what waves, he never gets a drop of water on them
That 1st boat looked like Don Johnson's

Miami vice boat
A shame Wellcraft went down the tubes
The "Old Man on the Boston Whaler" is out again. Something tells me he is a Billionaire, and has a very interesting story to tell on a Netflix series....
That San Lorenzo or the Viking nicely checks all the boxes, at least until you show me a Fleming 78
Is that Sonny Crockett's Scarab 38 from Miami Vice?
She certainly looks the part!
Yes it is

My favorite is the Viking 74 and how it takes the waves.
Princess!
BTL is the best
Felez Navidad..
MY favorite yacht was my 1929 Consolidated, 'SOLANA'.
Marlow 66e favorite boat
The viking.

My favorite yacht, none of those they're not mine so none of my favorite
I think the first boat might have been the "Miami Vice" Scarab. Can anyone confirm?
Color scheme is the same that is for sure!!! (Back in the day Welcraft had backorders for this model for 2 years straight so there are a lot of them )
Yes it is
Viking of course. No other compares.
Oh I’ll bet plenty of custom Carolina builders beg to differ
I hope there will be haulover inlet in GTA 6
Looks like the Miami Vice scarab
Well, that was a complete waste of time. No massive yacht humbled. No massive yacht in the 1 st place. 🙄
Why would you wear long sleeves and dockers in a Boston Whaler going out through the inlet?
Red Top Legend is always a well-dressed gentleman.
Worship the sun, die by the sun. Mexicans all wear long sleeves to keep the sun off their skin, too.
@@GWNorth-db8vnas do Arabs. It’s not live or die by the sun. Light colored breathable clothing is actually (especially if you have a breeze) cooler than exposed skin

We are in Florida this week and thought about going Thursday or Friday- will there be enough boats out that day to make it worth it?
The 74' Viking Sport fisher has the best lines. The pilot should have been on the throttle a bit more for better control.
The Viking was beautiful but I wonder what happened to the outrigger on the starboard side.
You ask what could the captain have done for a smoother pass. Same as all those boats, go out another day when it's calmer
What's with those Vikings? Bobbing around in Haulover like a rowboat...

IS THAT YOUR DRONE @1:24 ?
👍👍
I thought the legend had a navy blue top but it's black. I wonder what range that Viking 74 has? It has a huge davit too.
No idea since I could not afford to fill the tanks
At 5:55 it begins. San lorenzo.
That Peacekeeper is from Ontario, Canada. And it's for sale! $4.8
Malibu, CA
Putin must be held accountable for this horrific wave attack
I miss the teak wood decks.
So do varnish companies
What kind or type of drones are you using?
