I can't believe how such a small amount of pigment can make such a fabulous difference. And wow how big is your brush, but you paint the finest of small areas with it. I love you're style. No fuss no nonsense. Xx
My reasons for using large mop brush - covers large areas more quickly. - Holds a generous amount of water and pigment. - has a fine tip - I have limited number of brushes. - due to budget constraints, I avoid investing in fancy brushes.
@@PremaWatercolorYou have developed great talent and skill to be able to use the mop brush for such small details, unlike most that don’t have your skills.
I love this! The final picture is so appealing. Your technique and narration are wonderful. And I'm so impressed with your ability to paint small details with such a big brush. I can see that it's a very good brush with a great tip. Still, it takes so much skill to paint details while preventing that huge brush from dumping a ton of water onto the painting. Very impressive, and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you so much!
Did you say my narration is wonderful? How sweet! I always worry that I can't speak English fluently and can only turn 50% of my thoughts into words. I wish to be more expressive rather than just giving instructions.
I am amazed how cute that duck looks, I’m going to attempt to try and do one myself because you inspired me to get my watercolors out again. Thanks for explaining how and what colors you used. You made it look so so easy. And that brush seemed to be big but you controlled it so well. I’m impressed! Again, Thank you😊
Wow. This popped up on my feed and I took a preview of the videos you have uploaded and all I can say is WOW and thankyou, what awesome lovely tutorials. Cant wait to try many of them. I love your narration, you are very very talented indeed, immediately subscribed to your channel
This is adorable! Just checked over your channel and cant believe ive never seen it. I hope the algorithm picks it up soon. You have a lot of great ideas here to appreciate and share!
Your work is wonderful. Your generosity in sharing your creativity and expertise is truly exceptional. Thank you. I am learning so much. Blessings. 🙏🏻🌷🇿🇦
Really lovely Christmas card. For cards, I want to paint something that looks good, but isn't too complicated as I have to do quite a few. This is just right. Well done!
Wow. This was the most enjoyable tutorial I have seen in a long time. I so appreciated the careful instruction and close up views as well. I am excited to try my own version. That is quite the powerful brush that you wielded with skill. I am a keen new subscriber now.
Delightful card! You are very skillful at using your brush heavily loaded. I have been taught that one should always use the largest brush possible to apply the paint. As long as there is a beautiful point on the brush it works perfectly, just as you have demonstrated. Well done. Thank you for the demonstration!
Thank you! I love the duck…so cute! I’m wondering what type of white paint you used for the background snow? Was it regular white watercolor or something like bleedproof white or acrylic?? Thank you again!!
You're incredibly talented. Thank you. Your narration is soothing and thorough. Thank you so much for the precious tips! I'm starting and do not have enough budget for expensive brushes. May i ask you the brand of your incredible brush? 😊
Thank you so much! 🩵 I’d like to tell you about my personal experience with watercolor brushes.... Initially, I started with a local brand mop brush and round brush. Though the mop brush shed bristles, I still enjoyed using it. Over time, I saved up and invested in better brushes. Now, I use two favorites: the Escoda Ultimo mop brush (size 16) and the Silver Brush Black Velvet round brush (size 8). Unfortunately, I don’t have specific recommendations for affordable brushes, as I haven’t tried or tested many. However, starting with a basic mop brush and round brush is a great way to begin your painting journey! Happy painting!
What a charming painting, done so beautifully! That brush is wonderful! I don’t have any mop brushes that taper to such a precise, amazing point. May I ask what brand the brush is? Such incredible versatility!
I love this so much!! Beautiful colors and the cutest duck. ❤ What is the white pigment you used in the background (watercolor, gouache, ink)? It creates a really nice soft effect.
I really like this, it's such a cute motif, yet easy to do! What type/brand of tape do you use though? So far I couldn't find any that do not take the surface of the paper off when removing it, which is really annoying as it ruins the whole painting.
I can't believe that you used the same brush throughout and such a big one. Love your painting, thank you.
Thank you!

Super cute! I will try it. Thanks for making the video.
Is there a step by step for the sketch or just a download? Absolutely beautiful!! Thank you!❤
@@drr1981 The sketch is not step by step illustration.
I'm amazed at the control you have with such a large brush. Not only control of the paint but of the water. Nicely done!
Thank you so much! 🩵
This painting was adorable!!!
I absolutely love this little guy. Such fun. ❤❤❤
Thank you 😊!
I really like the look you achieved with the torn tape and the two different types of snow. Thank you for showing your methods. ❤
Glad it was helpful!

You rocked that massive paintbrush. I feel like sending you a smaller one just so you know how it feels, but you have massive skills with that brush.
Using a massive mop brush feels like a breeze . It is effortless and enjoyable! Thank you for your appreciation!

Thanks, Prema!
I checked out the Escordas. Man, they are not cheap, lol!
Escoda, not Escorda.....
Yes! It's not cheap. It was my long time dream to buy it. I gifted it to myself this birthday.
Très joli ta technique de la neige à l'aquarelle, c'est sur humide ou sec stp ? Et j'adore aussi ton pinceau, est-il vegan ? Merci d'avance
Bleeding technique is wet on wet. The mop brush is synthetic, imitating squirrel hair.
Thanks 😃
