I like the way you used the blooms to form the trees. I also use salt to form snow covered trees but am anxious to play with blooms the next time I do a winter scene with snowy trees. Thanks for sharing.
I watch your painting just to relax to your narrative and its magic effects as much as to paint my own versions. Absolutely beautiful. I wonder though: what is your big brush? Is it a big round brush or a mop brush? I love what you can do with it!! And I would like to consider getting one. Thank you, Prema 😊
You are so creative Prema. I love this technique and so glad you shared it with us. I'm using cheap store brand watercolor paper because I still feel I'm a beginner. When I use a lot of water on the paper it doesn't seem to do the bloom/cauliflower effect and actually seems to make the paper start disintegrate/shed and leaves particles of the paper on my paper. I hope that makes sense. Could you please tell me what watercolor paper you use? I would appreciate it. Thank you for another great tutorial. I learn so much from you and your creative techniques. Thanks for sharing your gift and your time with us. I can't wait to try this when I find better paper that isn't too expensive but better quality. Have a wonderful day Prema. You're wonderful and I enjoy your tutorials very much.

I really admire your creativity Prema to come up with an idea so simple and so effective. Those trees are beautifully delicate. How do you come up with ideas like these?
Bravo! You've left me thoroughly impressed.
What a lovely, comparatively easy snow scene that I am going to try... I love water colours used for Christmas scenes so thank you 😊❤

Why not play with blooms on scrap paper? Eventually, you'll learn how to use them in your paintings. 🩵🩵🩵
