So I bought the Louisville Genesis Ironman and it shattered on me, a few people a the park have been telling me not to use it in the cold. You know anything about this?
Stragglers from LS, ideally only 65 degrees and up. There is some wiggle room with that depending on if you’re keeping the balls and bat indoors and if you broke it in properly. sluggerslowpitch.com/pages/how-to-break-in-a-composite-bat
@@AverageDudesSlowpitch thank you! I live out here in Palm Springs, California so it really doesn’t get that cold out here. I hit the ball at a tournament in the sweet spot and the bay just shattered. I’ve only had it for like 2 months tops
I wouldn't recommend this bat to anyone. A guy on my softball team bought one about a month ago for around $400. I was taking BP with it and hit it towards the end of the bat and the end cap broke in half. Half the cap flew over to 3rd base. Never in my life have I had that happen with any bat let alone one thats pretty much brand new. He was upset about it because its new but im sure Proton will fix the end cap. I only took about 6 swings with it. Just enough for me to never even consider buying a Proton. Durability is trash.
can u help me answer a specialist questions. are 52 softballs soft in comparison I believe, are u familiar with 12 debeer clincher ball. are they similar ..... ps. great bat choice only one on the tube with it .
Hopefully this one was just a lemon but at a tournament this this summer i seen a bunch of the neon2's fail with low swings and even a couple fail in wrapper
Disappointed. My 1 piece has 700+ and still hitting 250 to 255psi. I do care about testing. I pride myself on hitting 350+ with high compression and love to see the faces when they test my bats and they are 250+ some at 275psi. Good cust service thu, you are correct there. They will swap it if it's low out of the wrapper #DBDB #Tanks
the proton discount code isnt working. reallllly want this bat
would you preffer Easton fireflex 240 (the blue and yellow one) more or the 2024 Demarini Vanilla Gorilla more
2024 VG for sure. Wasn’t a fan of any of the 240 Easton tech until the Tantrum tech
Thank you @@AverageDudesSlowpitch
Order mine on black Friday. Can't wait to get it
Awesome! Enjoy

This thing sounds better than an OG 220 ... Maybe break it in with 52s before the 375s ?
Yeah a 52s break-in could definitely be beneficial. Couldn't hurt to try
This hot butter or the monsta ignite?

107 off the tee?! Gawt dayum!
That Hot Butter sweet spot is filthy.

52/300 are soft vs 44/375
Had a friend go through 10 utrip bats this year because they failed compression after one tournament.
That’s unfortunate to hear. Ive personally had great success with the 1-piece compression but not so much with the 2-piece
I got my hands on a Utrip 2 piece Series 2. It was absolute gas and then it unfortunately cracked after 2nd tournament
Yeah they're filthy. 2-Pieces just seem to be a bit more fragile
Look at Proton making huge strides in the senior market!
😂… ⛽️
Until they crack in 50 swings

Yeah of the 8 Hot Butters we had 4 were 250ish in the wrapper and 4 were 265-275 so maybe a 50:50 on what you’ll get

Yeah I LOVE my 1-piece. For me unfortunately though I haven’t had compression luck with any 2-pieces.
