I had an uncle die of SIDS at 5 months old in his sleep. My grandma talked about it so much that when I had my first that I slept with him for the first 8 months of his life and didn't get a good night's sleep at all. Each one of my 4 kids, it was the same....my younger two Still sleep with me(6 and 8) which is shameful, but my family has been through a lot and it makes them and me feel safer. This mattress is amazing and I wish I would have had it...it is going to save so many lives!! The nursery is so well done and beautiful! When I became pregnant after losing my son to sids I was terrified to give birth, I consulted with dr’s & contacted my insurance & I got a machine (can’t remember the name) that is used in hospitals to detect his breathing, the machine had 3 wire leads that connected to the little sticky’s you place them on your child’s chest & snap to the wire, turn on the machine during nights & nap time & it gave me so much peace of mind. Don’t know if I would have made it through without it.
OMGoodness! That mattress is a genius idea! All of my kiddos are older now but I remember all the sleepless nights I worried about them smothering on those old mattresses not to mention, they would sweat. Thank you for sharing this now I know what I'll be getting for my future grandbabies and I'll share this with other new mom's. I love the nursery, it turned out adorable 💖 You're nails look cute and that's a cool top you're wearing! Stay well and God bless ❣
