Stephen did you know that you can cook items on furnace with any wood item? But wood items does not last long so put lots of wood items to furnace. With wood(s) you can cook one item without using a coal to single items.
...I just started to notice this when you said "breakfast" for pigs. Why doesn't it give you different forms of meat at different times of the day (as in, if between sunrise and noon, pigs drop bacon instead of porkchops)?

Good video but I havesome advice you might find helpful. You CAN jump and place blocks underneath yourself, which may help tremendously.

Enemies cannot spawn in rain during the day unless there is thunder nearby.
