The new hammers sound remarkably better. It sounds like a higher caliber instrument, significantly less brash. Did you consider replacing them with new Yamaha hammers and how do those compare to Abel?

I was leaning toward saying the same. What is it about the Yamaha hammers that sound better to you a.e. more color, better sustain etc.?
