@@minionfan1024 yes both passed in that year 1989. They during the voice action and they got replace by Jeff Bergman who was additional voice for the rest of the movie.
George O'Hanlon, who had already been in ill health throughout the 1980s run of the series, died of a stroke on February 11, 1989 after he finished recording; voice director Andrea Romano later recalled that he could record only an hour at a time due to ill health and had his final stroke while at the studio. George O'Hanlon complained of a headache and was taken to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, California where he died of a second stroke According to Andrea Romano, who was Hanna-Barbera's casting director at the time, O'Hanlon found it difficult to read and hear, and in the end, he died doing what he loved. George O'Hanlon had recorded all of his dialogue for George Jetson. George O'Hanlon was practically blind and had very little short term memory. He had to have each line spoken to him so he could repeat it back.
I the end credits Astro said I love you George there never be another actor like George O'Hanlon he did voice of George Jetson from 1962-1987 he play George Jetson one more time 1989 he Mel Blanc both died 1989 in 1990 Jetsons The Movie came out it still sad both guys gone but there memories live forever
So sad that The Jetsons is over. What's even more sad was George O'Hanlon (George's voice-actor) and Mel Blanc (the man of 1000 voices) both died in the same year that movie was released.
The film had a budget of $8 million (plus $12 million for prints and advertising) and disappointed at the box office, grossing $20.3 million in the United States.
Rest In Peace to all of the Hanna Barbara voice actors and actress and as well the heads William Hannah and Joseph Barbara
I’m Sorry For Your Loss
I've always loved this movie since I was a kid. I still cry in this scene. Lol.

Yep I can’t see that scene to this day without crying. I think this was the first time a movie got me to cry as a child.
One of the very first movies I ever saw in a theater. That last song is just so good (surprisingly so considering it's Tiffany).
I loved this movie, and had never forgotten about it!
Me too
The late great Siskel and Ebert gave this film two thumbs down but I still enjoy this film it's a childhood favorite
I think about this movie today!!!

Two guys got Replaced by Jeff Bergman.
Fact:Every Cast from The Jetsons(TV) are dead.
and almost all of the cast members of the smurfs are dead as well.
R.I.P. fellow voice actors.
Actually, they died in 1989, the year before the movie was released.
I remember watching this children's show on Cartoon Network. And the movie is neat.
At the very end of the credits, we can hear Astro saying, "RrI Rrove you, Rreorge." at 7:53
the tape has white screen of death?
+Michael Kovacs And then after that, the "Swirling Star" logo appeared at 7:58.
+Michael Kovacs I think that's the final send off to the voice actor who died before the film was released.
+Chris Zeptner What does "The White Screen of Death" Mean?
+Michael Kovacs Why exactly did Astro Say that at The End of the Credits?
"RrI Rrove you, Rreorge."
I Also remember one clip where he (George) said: "You did! DIDN'T YOU?!" in complete anger
My dad's name is George and I... dammit I just want one more day one second just to tell him "Thanks dad I really like this world"
Thanks George
You forgot the white screen of death on this tape.
Anyone else remember a special music video at the end of the Movie featuring Astro the dog?
