Thank you for this review. You answered all of my questions & concerns. At 2:45 am, I just ordered one for today delivery. My floors need the attention, for sure. (I’ve been looking for a more efficient way to clean my apartment floors, they’re embarrassing & there is so little available time in a busy corporate NY schedule. Again, thank you, your effort to make this video is greatly appreciated as viewers can assess in real time through your experience😊 & order with reasonable expectations👍🏻.
I recently bought one of these and have been really happy with it. It does a better job than the other mops I've been using. Also, you really remind me of comic Nick Swardson.
My concern is about transferring dirty water back into the clean water section after wringing. Ideally, mopping should involve wetting the mop with clean, soapy water, cleaning the floor, and then wringing the dirty mop into a separate, dirty water section to prevent contamination of the clean water. The process should minimize the mixing of clean and dirty water, maintaining the efficacy of the cleaning solution and reducing the spread of dirt. From what I see here, wringing the dirty, used mop puts about the majority of the dirty water back into the clean water section. This means that with each dip into the bucket, you'll be washing your floors with dirtier, and dirtier water. What are your thoughts on this?
I see what you're saying however; ive never seen a mop that didn't mix the clean solution with the "dirty" mop once its been applied to the floor. This mop set is the first mop ive seen that gives you the ability to wring and clean off hair and bits of dirt or mud before putting it back into the clean side. I would say that cleans more of the "dirt" than a traditional mop and bucket set where most people, at least that I've ever seen place the "dirty" mop head into the clean side, swish it around a bit and then wring it, and keep washing. The spinning mop head sets work great to wring out lots of water, but hair and little tiny splintery pieces of wood (we have a woodstove) grt locked into the microfiber or anything small that "sticks" that the broom might have missed prior to mopping. So, do you usually use two seperate buckets when mopping? Or do you know of a mop set that has a way to clean the mop head so clean that it literally appears "new" each time you place it on the floor? If you do PLEASE let me know!
I was taught to mop until the water in the bucket stays "clean", so that means changing the mopping water multiple times depending how dirty the floor is.
So basically you need two joymoop buckets 🪣 so you can wring out the dirty water in one to continuously have access to cleaner water as you go. So I’ll be buying 2 of these so I can have 2 buckets. Simple solution.
It’s over a year later and your video answered all my questions. Now it’s time to mop !! Thanks

@@angelabarba4367 this thing strains the dirty mop head right into the clean water its nasty
I just used this for the first time and said the same thing. I'm gonna try and wring the dirty water into the dry side and see if that's any better
Great review, definitely trying it out.
So this is what my life has come to. 30 years old, and watching a video on a mop. Im taking any life advice from anyone older than me please.
Lol.
Research and buy a good UV light for home sterilizing. Use very carefully! Took me 45 yrs to figure this out. Just learned it from a nurse.

The dirty water goes back into the clean water. It’s stupid

Yeah I saw that what a stupid design
