This is what brought me to Talkin Giants and what makes me stay. Film Review and O-Line Report. I'd love more of that myself... maybe a D-Line report and even a play calling report. Really study the film for what these guys are doing.
I love Eluemunor. So nice to have a capable tackle on the other side and as long as he doesnt regress I hope he re-signs after next year. We can develop guys behind him to eventually take over but I see him being a really good value as a vet at a position where guys can age well especially if they are later to the game in their careers like he is. He's hitting his prime now
and hopefully the O line will only get better as the season goes on as they play more snaps together and actually play there positions unlike in training camp with JMS being hurt and moving guards around to center
You have helped me get through this week to hope for better play by DJ and WR’s. Too many drops, too many misplaced balls. I’m hoping for better execution week 2
Thanks Bobby! Maybe Tommy will have a decent season once DJ breaks a leg. Would you please do a DL breakdown for us? I saw KT getting rolled a few times and want to know more. Cheers!
I love how many plays end with the football on the ground. 🙄 But I was satisfied with the OL play, it's all Jones he is a black hole-everything cascades down from his awful play. I wonder if he can even operate the offense against a college defense at this point.
Happy to have a positive O line😂 report, the way you watch film gives me a headache. You should run the play all the way through then do all the back and forth, back and forth stuff
Watching the OL it is hard not to notice that DJ holding on to the ball …..the ball should be coming out when his back foot hits the gnd but he double clutching the ball
Agreed. Schoen needs to go and Daboll will probably be a casualty with him but whoever comes in here we need to keep Carm. Can't just let him go after you finally have a good coach at the most important position coach. Would like to keep Patterson too but not quite as important
What would you think about a delayed jump set change up for JMS against edge rushers playing inside? Snap and set back like 2 steps and then jump him. Also needs to snatch arms off instead of just trying to work under imo when you arent long like that
The staff should be working Neal at both guard spots already also imo. Stinnie is a good backup this year but GVR getting old as an already bandaid and Neal just not being an NFL tackle clearly at this point makes it malpractice to not start working him there as a future option
Bobby, do you think we might even have (I can’t believe I’m about to say this) maybe even an average NFL offensive line? Or even hope against hope, an above average one?
I knew this starting 5 would be good-and by "good" I'm mainly comparing that to the standard of past Giants OLs. By NFL standards maybe average but to us that feels like a top 5 OL 😂. If anybody gets hurt though, things could get ugly again, depending on who gets injured. Probably mainly the tackles I think
How many weeks of good OT play does Eleumenor need before moving Neal to OG to potentially raise the ceiling of the unit? Or does that not happen? Yes, taking an OG at 1.7 is poor asset management, but getting nothing from 1.7 is worse. Depth is important, no doubt, but Neal was too damn good at Bama to be a total flop like he has been. Bricillo already has them playing better than we've seen in years, and with his coaching I could absolutely see Neal flourish at OG if moved.
JMS needs to learn to help out better and same goes for Runyan they easily could help better pockets if they both just look left or right dj had singletary open several times and didn’t check down take what the defense gives you until they stop it it’s that simple
How do you have a positive "rose colored glasses" OL report when the OL gives up 5 (count em) sacks and they rush for less than 4 YPC? Where were the sacks on the "OL Report?" They weren't horrible, but they weren't up against Paige, Marshall, Eller and Lurtsema.
Just need a competent quarterback to get our receivers the ball. This is Jone’s last season with the Giants. He obviously has “David Carr” syndrome unfortunately. I think 4 wins if we stick with Jones and draft our future quarterback.
Jones has no faith in the O-Line holding blocks. That's probably carryover from last couple years with Evan Neal and Glo. Hopefully he sees this has changed and adjusts his game accordingly.
oh God he cannot even run that well anymore. DJ had an average of 2.7 seconds in the pocket, which wasn't that bad. Now DeVito can have time and DeVito knows how to carve a throw
9:10 minute mark, DJ has a great pocket, wide open WanDale right in front of him and he is unable to throw the ball. How can he be this bad 6 years into the league
Two yard pass plays left and right and most were so low and the play design wasn't fooling anyone anemic offense can't find the endzone painful to watch !
oh my lord a positive o-line report. I might cry
I don’t know what to do with my hands
I might cum
Eluemunor is a breath of fresh air. Nice to see the RT not getting cooked every play
Hope Neal likes the view from the bench.
More entertaining than the game
Yep. This season I am gonna live for the general NFL overall, and my involvement with the Giants will be watching TG, BBB, and a lot of a22.
I've been waiting all offseason for these. Thanks Bobby!!!
I was dreading them but now I’m happy

I have started to look forward to these the last couple of years. Cannot believe this is the best thing to come out of week 1; by far!
Enjoy!
andrew thomas is such a stud lmfao
Jone's internal clock is cooked
Danny Check-downs
Its pretty sped up . Let him beat up a bad washington team and hell be ok. Not amazing but ok.
@@ajkareem5685 nah he's pretty terrible all around.
Give this guy more likes he does so much for us fans to understand more about what happened during the games
Bobby, you’re amazing. I played O-line in high school and your breakdowns and oline reports are just amazing
You’ll be glad you did!
A.T. is just so so good at football
I love Eluemunor. So nice to have a capable tackle on the other side and as long as he doesnt regress I hope he re-signs after next year. Been waiting on this. Missed these so much! Especially one where I know we have a solid group now
Wow!!!! There were some clean pockets
Thanks!!!
Always favorite video
Been waiting for this!! Thank you Bobby 💯
Thank you!

Excellent work Skinner!
Enjoy your insight! Thank you.

Watching Good O-line play is better than sex
First time is the most memorable
Now try watching good Oline play during sex
Lmaoo
Thanks Bobby!
3:00ish, next time the LG needs to look for Van Ginkel and trust that Thomas has everything fully under control.
Football is now officially back
Was waiting for this!!!!!!!
Great content!
I let out a “oh hell yeah” at the sight of this OLine report
Hell ya
Great stuff. What do you think of moving JR to the right guard and putting Neal at left guard. AT and Neal could move some bodies.
you should do an episode on how the Vikings tackles manhandled burns and kavon
Thanks Bobby! Maybe Tommy will have a decent season once DJ breaks a leg. Would you please do a DL breakdown for us? I saw KT getting rolled a few times and want to know more. Cheers!
Great to see a functional offensive line. Its painfully obvious that if this team had a capable QB they would be much better offensively.
Thanks

First “Bam!”s of the season.

The Online looks like a successful repair so far…now fixing Danny’s mental is the biggest problem
What would you think about a delayed jump set change up for JMS against edge rushers playing inside? Snap and set back like 2 steps and then jump him. Also needs to snatch arms off instead of just trying to work under imo when you arent long like that
What is your take on the screen play pick six offensive tackle play?
JMS : Good stuff here.
Jones : Throws it at singletarys knees for a 3 yard loss
I’m just the beginning of this video but Singletary looks open a lot, with some field in front of him
dj's confidense is gone. looks like its either the kid from Georgia, or Sanders.
You are right, Last year Jones was sacked soon as he got the ball, O-Line was much better, Now some scheme to get the WRs open
Both tackles looking good? Ima cry.
Would you say that JMS was struggling to anchor? Thought he had a solid game, but if Ward is bulling him is that a long term issue?
No question JMS is gonna struggle this week against the Commanders.
The worst part of this video is having to watch Daniel Jones’s passes over and over and over 🤢
His accuracy is so concerning.
You should do weekly dline reports also
Jones should be done. This was solid pass pro.
The staff should be working Neal at both guard spots already also imo. Stinnie is a good backup this year but GVR getting old as an already bandaid and Neal just not being an NFL tackle clearly at this point makes it malpractice to not start working him there as a future option
The O-line did their jobs. That proformance from Daniel Jones killed the game. But Brian Daboll also should earn the hate for not prepping Jones.
Hi
Bobby, do you think we might even have (I can’t believe I’m about to say this) maybe even an average NFL offensive line? Or even hope against hope, an above average one?
Thoughts and prayers with Justin atm
i like our o line. Not too high on runyan though
I knew this starting 5 would be good-and by "good" I'm mainly comparing that to the standard of past Giants OLs. By NFL standards maybe average but to us that feels like a top 5 OL 😂. O Line did good not Great But GOOD they will get better together , I like what I see
JMS needs to learn to help out better and same goes for Runyan they easily could help better pockets if they both just look left or right dj had singletary open several times and didn’t check down take what the defense gives you until they stop it it’s that simple

Is Andrew Thomas blue chip?
Seeing this oline juxtaposed the awful qb play was quite eye opening
Just need a competent quarterback to get our receivers the ball. This is Jone’s last season with the Giants. He obviously has “David Carr” syndrome unfortunately. I think 4 wins if we stick with Jones and draft our future quarterback.
Now if they can run block we'll be good.
Don't hold your breath.
Would Daniel even start at Duke this Saturday?? I genuinely don’t think so lol
Jones has no faith in the O-Line holding blocks. That's probably carryover from last couple years with Evan Neal and Glo. Hopefully he sees this has changed and adjusts his game accordingly.
it's nothing to do with that, he just can't read the field. He has one read and if it's not open he's fucked
So many throws jones passed on...😩
oh God he cannot even run that well anymore. DJ had an average of 2.7 seconds in the pocket, which wasn't that bad. Now DeVito can have time and DeVito knows how to carve a throw
0-17 please
I think Daniel Jones got skittish after the beating he took from Dallas last year.
I don't Adam & Eve it
This breakdown is making me more upset with Daniel reading the defense. A lot of open receivers smh
8:09 how yall think haddy feels about taking a shit on daniel jones? 🤮
like this team should not be this bad, what is the problem
Seemed like JMS false stepping in the run
giants shud play ice hockey????
I think GVR is the weakest link on this OL
Washington has an ass pass rush. NYG 23-20.
We can go oh and 17 because we really stink
No wonder they lost. Those uniforms are an embarrassment. 😂
Brian Flores called a great game daboll not so much
Seemed like a great game because of the Giants QB. He hardly blitzed. Good DC's can easily scramble DJ's brain.
DJ is slow. I see players flashing open right from the snap and he doesnt throw the ball. 🤬
JMS problem is he’s just weak that’s all he doesn’t have enough Strength
So nice not to see Neal.
They still gave up five sacks. Better, but surely not great.
I guess apparently some or even a lot of that can be placed on Jones, as opposed to bad OL play. The film review tonight might shed more light on this
@@davidriedy5977 You sound like a real Jones hater. How about all the sacks he avoided by scrambling. Do you count them?
