- On this episode of Night Crew we show how wild pigs, just like coyotes will respond to a call under a light when fired up enough. It takes a certain pig to be the right candidate but when it it all comes together LOOK OUT! This is a new side of night hunting the guys are tapping into that keeps evolving each and every trip out under the stars. Night hunting has taken on many forms and this one is one that'll make the hair on your neck stand at attention. Wild pigs, mad as hell are about to bite the dust on this one!
Never had pigs on our property till last year and now they have taken over.
I can come hunt them if ya need

With the hogs apparently struggling to locate the source of the sound, do you tend to run your FoxPro at a higher volume than you would for yotes or cats?

Nice production. I will say, I"ve never heard hogs out in the wild making so much noise. I have had the big boar let a hell of a grunt out when he winded me but none of the noises you guys played on the call. With that said, I'm in the market for a coyote and fox call, I guess to have some hog sounds can't hurt.

I am impressed watching this. Though I gotta ask, how well do you maintain your situational awareness? A boar who's curious about those sounds sneaking up behind you could ruin your day ... er, night, real fast.
Those things kickin remind me of my dog I used to have. He'd do that when he was asleep and dreaming.

I didn't hear you mention it, but while I believe they can see the white light and keep coming, even hear some strange sounds and keep coming, possibly see some indiscernible movement and keep coming, that if they get a good whiff of "Human" they're gone. And they aren't coming back.

One of my cousins got messed up pretty good by a hog coming out of a thicket. These aren't an animal you want to get too close to.

So I am guessing Pigs and Coyotes are not spooked by Spot lights? Always hunted them in the daylight so never really thought about if they were or not.
terminator pigs are 6 ft high meat eaters of ancient times - crazy if they're around to hunt.

The reason for the pigs comming in the way they do is trying to scent, have called them in for a few years and they try get down wind .

Hey Chris, is it possible that pigs are prone to have unilateral hearing like many white dogs? They hear great, but can’t differentiate between right and left. I had a Jack Russell Terrier that had it and she acted like those pigs when I called her.
I’ve been hunting over 48 years here in Australia every pig why not his other pigs in distress they come looking to help them when you use dogs and there’s a sow grunting screaming are the pigs come back always to defend their sow Any pig in that fact Also pigs always do not glow like human size and other animals it may show it on film but in person looking at a pig at night with a spotlight on it their eyeballs to not shine at all
All These Hog.Coyote.Bobcat killing videos are quickly becoming my new guilty pleasure. I would LOVE to do this one day. providing a lotta meat for homeless people.
