I'm glad to see CSM being covered. Its hyperviolence is more campy though so I can't really recall any truly edgy moments. Well, there's Akis constant suffering but that doesn't really count. Quality-wise it's amazing and I really hope it nails the landing
Chainsawman is the only manga I'm reading on shonen jumps app weekly and throughly enjoying . The other being One Piece (but I wait months before is start binge reading) Loved it ever since it came out. Glad to see some other recommendations like it.

Oh... I know a thing or two about Tezuka manga's that go off the rails. My favorite out of the bunch is Apollo Song. It's a strange but familiar story that always catches my interest every time I reminded of it. I also like the Phoenix stories too, but sometimes I don't remember everything from those stories. I get easily depressed after reading one. Happens to me every time I try to read Nausicaa Manga(This is a different author I'm talking about). But this mostly happens from reading Book 2: Future. It's just wild what happens in that one. Also, thank you very much. I was very surprise to my name in your video. So I can not wait for the next one.
Oniwakamaru looks so damn cool. The artstyle is really intense and oddly enough, how you mentioned the wife just being okay with it really makes me curious, lol. My friends also keep recommending Chainsaw man to me so I'm glad I got to find out more about what it is. Good stuff.

What would you say your playlist is like when reading stuff like this? Some death metal to rage with, gothic melancholia, sounds of bees farting, silence?
I actually don't listen to music while I'm reading, but the album "Omake no Ichinichi" by Kinniku Shoujo Tai probably fits the mood of these series well enough. Plus it has some awesome Suehiro Maruo cover art!
U must do more go nagai stuff I still feel he’s underrated in English countries, not as much as he was before crybaby, but he still needs more recognition & 4 more of his manga 2 get licensed. Also u mentioned u were doing edgy tezuka stuff alabaster & the crater I would recommend & r my favourites of tezuka’s works.
