Pile 2 - Love it when a reading just hits! I have always wanted to travel and never saw it as a possability, because of money mostly. A couple years ago I decided I needed to make it a priority! Since then I have crossed several vacation dreams off my bucket list. I've road tripped across counrty, seen wonders like Yellowstone and The Grand Canyon, rode a train for the first time, even just visited destinations in my own state that I have put off. Next month my hubby and I are taking our first ever cruise to the Bahamas and just applied for our passports, which has been a major roadblock in my travel ambitions! Now with the world open to us, I see our ultimate vacation to Ireland as an inevitbility, not a just a pipe dream. That was so profound of you to say-I don’t see anyone reflecting me and yeah I want to be seen and taken seriously because I’m stuck in the injustice of the past few years and being neurodivergent I have been unable to get the mental health care I need and they assume so much that isn’t correct because they refuse to drop their ideas and investigate anything I’m saying because they have no idea how I work since I’m not neurotypical and my recent experiences are so egregious it seems impossible to have experienced or to get the justice I deserve so I’m hoping to teach them and fix things but I’m still homeless and heartbroken and unable to get mental health care. Pile 1: How did you know?! haha I've completely thrown out the rule book for how I'm doing life this year. Instead of setting SO many goals and charging ahead towards them, I'm fully surrendering to the "wintering" season; Quiet, slow, mindful, intentional, restful, allowing. I'm recovering from burnout (still) so it feels really strange to let go of that grind I'm so used to. Especially because I run my own business. Feels like I'll be left behind or fail but the old way wasn't really working to help me, so it's time to try something new. And yea, it feels odd but, leaning into that and trying to feel ok with it. I am in a career orientation program that makes me feel like I am breathing for the first time in years an I start to be much more aware of my victim mentality and all of those self blocking behaviors feel so much more breakable than they previously were. I was asked this week to draw a tree of life and I realized how much more clear and blunt my thoughts were when I'm writing them, I also realized I should be experiencing the death of my ego any time now (I talk a lot about myself all the time, mixed with me always feeling inadequate and something about my relationship with my nephew feels wrong on my side and I want to get out that shitty mentality now that I'm aware of it) I hope that when I'll be on the other side of it I'll keep that empathy I have that's so outside of everyone's around me, that this value I hold is a real one and not one of the many mechanisms I use to make myself feel special or to excert a power I don't think I have
