Well, what a treat to come home to after a 12h shift watching a procession of identical 755s slide past the box all day! Excellent work again, nearly spilt my beer on the 1st train over the jnc , smelt the fumes off the rear valenta and wondered if they had developed a chinook powered 47 on the quiet! Quite the mix of classic traction to revel in.
Great work as usual chief love it, note the drivers leaning over to see if you have a rock or not. then they see the camera and know you're okay. keep em coming.
That house (former railway cottage) beside the junction I'd always look out for, with its collection of station name boards in the garden. Among them as I remember were Halifax, Portmadoc, Aberdovey, and more locally Andover Junction
By an incredible coincidence, I have both 47701, and 47706, on my layout, in the liveries they carry in your video! I should add, as well, the light engine 33 is something, like all light engine movements, that fascinate me. Where had it come from, where was it going? And, good catch with the rail cleaning unit, being propelled by the 33/1 at the end! Great little snapshot in time!
1:55 looks like a fair ride along that bit of track
Brill, hope there's more of this; definitely brought back memories. Thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, there’s some on the channel already and more to come👍

The only problem with this video is that it was too short! 😂 top quality

They had a noisy cockerel as well on a few of my shots there
Excellent video, certainly plenty of variety back then!
33102 pushing the sandite unit. It has the extra pipe fitting below the headlight to connect to the “Swedish Scrubber”
Nice 47/Thumper crossover 😁
Oh yeah! Lucky timing that one
Absolutely fantastic, captures 1990's BR so well.
Thanks, few more on the way

I would guess the 33 had come from Eastleigh, no way of finding out at the time unfortunately
Undoubtedly from Eastleigh, very probably to Woking engineer's yard
