they are not the same. The lip kits are a way better formula than Colourpop. In my personal opinion

the new formula of the lip kits is the same as the colourpop ultra mattes as they are made by the same company. Not necessarily the same color selection. But Pretty close and only $11 for a liner + lipstick.

I agree, I've bought these and the lip kits are awful I hate the formula. I feel as if people lie or over exaggerate how good the product is, not to mention how awful their customer service is.

I have Beeper and Dolce K, they both look completely different on me :/ My Dolce is super nude, and Beeper is dark. Weird.
You may have sifferent pigmentation in lips compared to Shannon and also factor in lighting and camera quality, which can affect appearance

Good to know. I have only ordered two colourpop lippies and both shades weren't what I expected at all. I got one that I thought would be a mauve and it looks dark purple on me. I don't want that same thing to happen so I might have to at least try to get Dolce K.

a lot of the nudes look a lot different on different skin tones! if you go on kyliecostmetics instagram, a lot of swatches on different skin tones have been done and I find those really helpful!!
The colours all look different depending on the colour of your lips! So if you have light lips the colours are very light or with darker coloured lips the colours will look darker

It's kind of weird to call other brands "dupes" when some of the lipstick colors have came out way before Kylie cosmetics ever existed. I would say that the Kylie cosmetics colors are the real "dupes"....... some really expensive dupes. It would be more appropriate to call them alternatives to the Kylie cosmetics because a dupe would be an actual copy of the Kylie lipstick or whatever. Just my opinion.
another dupe to dolce k is nyx suede in soft spoken the nyx like Shannon said is more moussey! But totally worth it and very affordable!!!
