I think it might be rank (level difference) base, Grey rank battle see to get Tier 2 quotes while White rank battle seem to get Tier 3 ones. The few times I fight Yellow rank I did hear some of those Tier 1 quotes. So Tier 4 might be for Red rank, monsters.
The post battle lines from Heroes can be triggered in NG+, when you only have the Kevesi trio and a Hero. Since there are only a few party members, the frequency to hear Hero post-battle quotes is a bit higher compared to when you have the main party.
I don't know if I'd be able to pull that one off. By that I mean, if I tried to make the video now there'd be no context as to where or who each character is talking too for half of the lines. The ones related to the main story progression are arranged in chronological order, so I can figure those out fine. But for stuff relating to side quests and random site seeing, the audio mapping chart doesn't really help me there.
I haven't heard a few of these. Tier 1s are probably ones that only activate when you barely survive a battle, right? But I've never heard any of the Tier 4 ones, which sound more motivational/for the future (and talk about the enemies being in the way?), compared to the Tier 2s which are easy wins and Tier 3s which are generic. Do those Tier 4 ones play only in Origin, or are they unused?
I'm pretty sure I've heard some of the Tier 4 ones before like Noah's "We'll beat the odds every time", after some really long Unique Monster battles. But they're extremely rare.
