Loved Ian Rush, I believe Kenny give him a bollocking early on about him not running toward goal, have to say the Rush Dalgleish partnership was awesome, his pace and Kenny's precision was unstoppable.
Leeds fan here We got Ian Rush from Liverpool in 1996 and used him as a midfielder for some reason but the one game he played up front against Chelsea he scored twice lol great great player forget he actually left for one season could have had nearly 400 goals for Liverpool
for me the greatest finisher the game has ever seen, the passes were great and he was the icing on the cake
when we brought him back it was massive, like signing the greatest player ever, well we did
my first ever LFC memory is the 86 cup final when he knocked the camera over

Top goalscorer says it all.......
Rush was one of the best , loved him , went away to Juvay but came back and just started all over again .
when Rush scores Liverpool never lose

Didn't know that. Gaffers do love to have players out of position and wonder why things don't go well. Anyway, looks like Leeds are coming back up 👍
killer goal rush the leading goal scorer
He would have been a great player in todays era, imagine him with Salah and Mane either side.
And rush always pressed. He had an unbelievable engine on him. A fantasic team player no doubt
346 goals in 660 games. done.
346 will stand for ever at LFC no one will get near that mark.
No Torres and no Suarez?
they were flash in the pans, especially suarez, he only "did it" for a season and a half. Torres a bit longer to be honest though
Moses Hifike Ndjaleka they were in the newer edition of this. This came out in 2006
Where is the top two?? Kenny should be no1 and Stevie G no2? But where are they?
Great goal scorer but failed in Italy.
British footballers aren't as tactically or technically skilled as footballers on the continent . That is why Ian Rush failed in Italy.
the mufffia require a degree in latin...
@@dwanyewest And italian players couldn't play physically and don't have the stamina as british players.
@@JohnnyC01 More British footballers fail abroad than Italians footballers fail in the UK.
Couldn't lace Aldridge's boots. failed in Italy
