Yeah canning isn't so practical for normal home brewing in a lot of scenarios. Typically not worth the investment unless really planning on shipping a lot of shared beers to friends :)
Thanks for sharing guys! When you get tired of manually pulling the labelling machine by hand, I recommend getting LT-50S semiautomatic labelling machine. Its adjustable to different label sizes. My throughput is about 7 min for 90 cans. It could even do faster if two people are doing it at the same time.
@@BentGateBrewing setting up could be a bit of pain but its definitely worth it. You will probably need to change the core of the label to fit this machine tho.
I have a similar one to @AntonPuzorjov, the MT-50 I think it is. Once set up, it's great. @HarryBrew69 has a good video on setting up and what to watch out for regarding its lack of an earth connection.
Hi there, was just watching today's livestream and it reminded me of this can labelling video. Can you confirm the label you used - largest Epson Die Cut Roll I can find for the CW-C4000e is only 102mm x 152mm (C33S045541).
The labels we use are pre-cut glossy 105 x 192 mm labels ("Standard EP10 40/200"). I get them from TA Elektronikk in Oslo. Hopefully you are able to find them where you're at! Could be worth calling a local printer sales company who maybe doesn't put all their available items on their website. Thanks for joining the stream!!!
Didn't realise you did your own labels till now. Currently I'm paying over a £100 for my labels (3 x 100 on a roll), ordered from a company. Definitely going to look at getting an in house printer on the back of this video. How have you found it to be? Reliable enough do you think? Really enjoying all your videos. I have a very similar setup to yours and you have some great tips that I'm trying to incorporate into my brewday. Thanks again.
Good question! The only reason is so that we know how many labels to print after we can all the beers (some don't pass quality inspection). Certainly can label beforehand if you want (assuming labels can handle water well). They don't get that warm (maybe 10C tops), so no worries from our side.
Certainly an investment. Depends on the price you can get small quantity labels for and expected payback time of investments. For us this will pay for itself in label cost savings but it would be a case by case basis for each business :)
This is really cool to see, some day maybe I'll get into canning but now I know a way to easily label with that Label slayer

Super cool to see! I would love to see a video of how you go about designing your labels as well. Much love from Denmark!
Thanks for the video idea! Would be happy to make a video about that subject :)

Thanks for the tip! I'm sure we will upgrade in the near future and certainly give this one a consideration! Do you find it pretty easy to use?

thanks for sharing this, helps really to find new ideas and inspirations :) cheers
Glad we could help! Cheers!
Great video. Thanks! .I just learned that you cannot buy the level printer CW-C4000e Series in the states :)
Is the label take up real devise part of the Epson printer? Or stand alone? Link?
It's a separate device. I added some links in the description now for you :)
Awesome video. Ignoring the cost of the printer and slayer. How much do you pay per label in ink and paper?
About 2-4 NOK per label :)
Bonus question: is the ink waterproof? Had issues with inkjet labels on bottles and condensation
Yup it is waterproof :)

Your label is so dope, any chances of getting a high res copy of it for inspiration? Love your channel btw!
Send us a DM on instagram with your email :)
Hi, where did you buy your pre-cut glossy paper from? is there any online or amazon? im based in Liverpool, uk
Thanks
Is there a reason you label filled cans rather than labeling empty cans before filling them? Any worries about them getting warm?

This is dope! where do you purchase the adhesive labels from?
We buy them from TA Elektronikk :)
Thanks for the great videos 😊 How long does it take you to can 150 liters of beer?
Our batch sizes tend to be 120Lish, which takes us approx. 1 hour to can with two people :)
@@BentGateBrewing Ok, that's fast! And you're still doing it with the duofiller?
Man i love your set up! Quick Q on the printer, how are you finding the ink costs, is it expensive to run?
Thanks! It's less expensive than it would have been to buy small batch label amounts (
could you share this file
Sweet
:)
What is the finnal cost of a single label? Without the hardware just the ink and the paper.
Did a breakdown in the comments below. 2-4 NOK per label estimated but not in great detail.
Hi again!
Which paper do you use to print labels?
+1
nice but 2000 euros printer is steep for most small producers that are following...
