So so lovely and helpful..i really do wish most of these elaborated decor items are in the UK, they have here but i keep seeing the ones that tickle my fancy from US or rather in Dollars currency.. this video is superb, please do keep it up..
this was amazing thrifty is what I love something cheep but u made it look expensive. my son 1 birthday is coming up and I will be sure to make this for him. thank you
Hi! You are so awesome and REAL! I love your work, your knowledge and ease of explaining how to do what you do. Thank you for sharing your passion with us!! God Bless!!
Amazing!! Super easy to understand and implement! When someone orders a arch from you what information do you need as far as sizing? Like how do you make sure its the size they are looking for.
Generally I'll ask them where they want to put the arch and what it's going to go over. Sometimes I'll have them send me a photo so I can gauge the size :~)
very beautiful. how many balloons did you have to use in order to make the arch and what is the best quality balloon as in what store should I purchase balloons poles and wires???
The number of balloons depends on the size of the balloon, and the size of the arch. The hardware is available from your local hardware store, but as for the balloons I would look for either Qualatex or Betallic. Check out their websites, they both have lists of their distributors so you can find the closest one :~)
hello, around how many pink, white, and black balloons did you use? separately, I'm thinking about doing this for my son, but of course different colors
SUPER! I have learned how to make balloon arches and Poles from you, thank you. I make them for schools. I still have trouble with the top arch (bend) of the balloon arch. Do you? Is there a secret to it?
Try using PEX or a hula hoop. (Only for the top of small arches though~ it's not stable enough for very large arches). I have a video coming out soon showing how to make a frame for a large arch... stay tuned ;~)
Very helpful. And ur very sweet I want to try this u make it look easy I feel like the twisting would be the hardest. Could you maybe show a close up of how you tie the balloons together?
It's kinda like tying your shoes. I just made a video on it, but it won't be out for a while yet. Here's an older one that shows it though... th-cam.com/video/R_fFwVTg--g/w-d-xo.html :~)
Yep, I actually just posted that video a couple of weeks ago. Go over to my channel and click on the "video" tab to see the most recent videos and you should find it :~)
I love your work!!!!! OMG! I worship all of your advice! So now, I'm trying the frame for the arch. However my wire isn't holding upright. I want to make it wide enough for 2 & tall enough for a 6'5 footer. Will the pressure from balloons make the wire stand upright? ~confused~
+Ashley Davie sometimes the wire can be difficult. Maybe try aluminum rod, PEX or even a hula hoop for the top. The stands can be from emt- or you could even use schedule 40 pvc. :-)
+Sandi Masori Balloons...I DID IT!!!!!! Yes! Wish I could post a picture. It was donated to our high schools volleyball team. Yes, you're my girl crush. Thanks so much!
+Nancy Simon you can make baseplates and poles from materials you can find at Home Depot or other hardware stores, or you can buy floor lamps from Ikea or walmart or target to use for the poles. Note that the lamp bases aren't that great for large arches or outdoors though. I have a video on hot to make the base plate and poles so I'd look for that one and follow those instructions! :-)
We used about 120 balloons total. Or 30 of each color. You will use more if you inflate the balloons smaller though. Maybe 40 or 50 of each color depending on how small you go.
this is amazingly ready thank you so much!! I'm trying to make my daughter a dyi monster high party but I have va very small budget, how many balloons would take for a table arch?
How much time would you suggest for an arch of this size including filling the balloons? If it's mentioned in your ebook forgive me I haven't downloaded it yet. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. They've been a great help!
0Storyteller0 It depends on how fast you can blow and tie and then pack it. The answer is different for everyone and with more practice you will get a lot faster. In the beginning it might be a couple of hours, and then only 30 min once you have the muscle memory for it :-)
+Jacqueline Ramirez - It's all a matter of practice. I've got 20 years experience on you ;-) But just plan more time than you think you need and you'll get it :-)
Hi Sandy. Great video. One question. How do I reduce the gaps between each set of quads that I'm layering? In your video, the is minimal to no gap between the layers/quads. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
+guamybear81 - The more consistent your sizing and packing, the less you'll be able to see the pole between the quads. Keep in mind that from certain angles you may be able to see it a little, so that's why we generally paint ours black.
+Thad Gregory It depends on the venue and how much set up time we have. Either we inflate the balloons in advance and build the whole thing and bring it ready made, inflate the balloons in advance and bag them to pack on site, or inflate on site. Different jobs and venues have different requirements :-)
+Sandi Masori Balloons Thanks for the response. Here's the real question: do you use an electric air compressor or nitrogen? I leave out manual hand pump because that would work intensive! For outdoors in Texas, the heat is a big problem. We even tried using 16inch balloons underinflated.
+Thad Gregory - ahhh.... well I use the precision air, so yes, an electric compressor. I under inflate and stay away from dark colors in the heat. I don't know if you would have different results with nitrogen or not as I've never really used nitrogen before ;-)
For a doorway, I would probably make it a little wider. I'd probably use PEX instead of the wire that we used in this video. Maybe 12' - 15' or so.... :~)
Good Morning Sandi. I was hoping you could give me an estimate of how many balloons you use (quad) to arch a 6 foot table. This is my first project. Also, I would like to thank you for sharing your talent with us.
+Denise Coleman The number of balloons depends on the size of the balloons and the size of the arch. For a 6' table you probably want to use a smaller balloon- maybe even a 5" balloon so it doesn't look out of scale.
This is awesome, and perfect for a 5th grade Valentine's party. My question is how long in advance can this be made, but still maintain its beauty? Would love to do this verses helium especially since helium has to be done the day of. That makes for a long day. My son's Vday party is in 6 days and if this will hold, I can do a little everyday and still deliver early. ???
+April Cutler - Sorry I just saw this... Air- filled balloons will last for quite a while. We sometimes will even inflate a few days before the event, but we try to time it to be as close to the event as possible to keep them fresh...
+Sandi Masori Balloons Not sure how to post the pics, but would love to show it off! The hubby and I worked very hard. We delivered it to the elementary school the morning of the party, and told them to keep the frame for future parties!
Hi! I'm getting ready to make an arch for my daughter's bday. it will be outside and more of an entrance to the party. I really wanted to make my own arch - is this possible? what do I use? or is being outside safer with a kit...
Look for my video on how to make a baseplate and pole, and then just connect two of those with some wire or alum rod. For outside you want it as stable as possible, so you may even want to put some weights on the baseplates. :-)
How tall are those poles? I wanted to make one that uses 6 foot poles and I need to know how many balloons I need. You said 130 but that's also a small arch. Any help would be appreciated.
U r teaching with systematic, after watch your's, I'm very confidence. Thank you very much. People bless you.

Thanks! I would use aluminum rod, or if it's a small arch, you could even use PEX or even a hula hoop :~)
Thank you for the ebook!
u have thought me a lot know I have a small business going on I found my true passion
BEAUTIFUL!!
Thanks! :~)
OMG I love this! Can't wait to try this! Are the columns done with the same poles as well but shorter ones of course??
killahkeedy yep, you got it- the mechanics are the same, just the sizes change :-)
Very helpful. And ur very sweet I want to try this u make it look easy I feel like the twisting would be the hardest. Could you maybe show a close up of how you tie the balloons together?
I feel like if I miss that step it won't come out as great

+Christina Campbell , yes you have to straighten it a little because it's pack curled up. Having someone help you would work out better.
thank u :)
Thank you very nice.
Thanks for the video, can you suggest a specific type of wire to use please?
+Diana Edwards - Aluminum rod is best as it's a bit thicker and sturdier than wire.
This is very fun! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Cool where can I buy those poll and wire?

I can almost guarantee you that, when I try this. It will not be this easy. Thank you, guess you know my next diy project.

Do you have any videos of how to make a crown arch?
Not yet, but I'll add it to the list :~)
that was very nice
I been looking for easy arches and all the videos r so hard and boring but yours is amazing and smart!!!! Keep it up!!! U have a new sub!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
+mayra perez Thank you!! :-)
I love this video! Sandy makes it look so easy!
what size balloons were those that you were using?
11" balloons sized to 6" or so :-)
Hi Sandi! Love you work! is this arch considered a door/entry way arch? How long is the pole used on top?
For a doorway, I would probably make it a little wider. I'd probably use PEX instead of the wire that we used in this video. Maybe 12' - 15' or so.... :~)
+Sandi Masori Balloons did you have to straighten the wire out first ?
Ok, thank you!!
Hi Sandi! Where can I find these things you use for arch???
Home Depot, Lowes, Ace ... any hardware store :~)
Good Morning Sandi. I was hoping you could give me an estimate of how many balloons you use (quad) to arch a 6 foot table. This is my first project. Also, I would like to thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Beautiful work!

Hi , Great Job but my only question was how do I know how any balloons I would need for a larger arch for our schools prom?

Look for my video on how to make a baseplate and pole, and then just connect two of those with some wire or alum rod. For outside you want it as stable as possible, so you may even want to put some weights on the baseplates. :-)
what metal wire did you use to join the arch? Will the arch be ok for outdoors?
For outdoors use heavier/ wider baseplates (Like those in my balloon column frame video). You can use PEX, or alum rod for the top of the arch. :~)
Hi love! That size were the balloons in this video and how wide and tall is for the arch?
Adrienne Brooks in this one the balloons are about 9" or so and the arch is about 5' wide and 7.5' tall or so
Thanks for the video, how do you make sure the columns won't fall?
+Ashlei Baines The wider the footprint, the more stable the decor is. :-)
Awesome
I like that thanks my lady
How tall are those poles? I wanted to make one that uses 6 foot poles and I need to know how many balloons I need. You said 130 but that's also a small arch. Any help would be appreciated.
How do I get the free book? I love it
Go to www.BalloonUtopia.com/25Ways and enter your email to get it sent to you :~)
love it
Hi Sandi, what type of rod are you using in this video?
+Kiara Smith ceiling tile wire, but it's too thin, you'd be better off with PEX or alum rod. (I've even heard of some people using hula hoops )
