@@virtualcrimes ya I got a syntakt, I enjoy it but older elektron products are like crack cocaine. I got a MnD last year and now bit the bullet on the MnM cause ya the sounds is produces have yet to be replicated anywhere else

most people who use it that have recently been posting try to sound like sophie, its pretty versatile outside of the sophie realm, however slapping that chorus on fm engines will almost always relate back to sophie sound palette.

sysex is a format to send midi messages to the monomachine. In this case, the sysex data contains the snapshot of patterns I have created. All these sounds and patterns are self made.
@@virtualcrimes sorry, so what is the function of sysex in this tracks? i guess my main question would be if these sounds have something to do with external midi data or you made all these sounds inside the machine. Would love to have a tutorial from you on sound designing patches and performing them as youtube has super limited info about the mono ! :))
@@claudiacompany8414 if you are new to monomachine forget about the sysex. In the case of the video, it was a snapshot of all my patterns and kits i made, saved as a sysex on my computer as a backup. Only thing you need to worry about is pattern and kit creation which is all done on the monomachine, no need to worry about what the sysex is for now. This is used primarily for backup purposes.
Elektron really ought to bring this thing back. It's still making sounds like nothing else in the world.

Do these use original waveforms/does sysex require a mk2? Just picked up a mk1
this is a stock mnm, all engines same as mk1
