My mom was a floater. The look on her face when she said unit she didn't like to work was the Burn Unit. She meant it. And she worked the ICU quite a bit. How they would have to scrub off the skin...and that the kids were the hardest emotionally. And the smell. She said the Burn Unit had a certain smell, and you could smell it as soon as you opened the door.
Sweetie most nurses don't make it 2 years in the burn unit. I never worked in a hospital with a burn unit. I couldn't do it. You have to know your breaking point. Set boundaries and take care of yourself.

So let me get this right, Jason as a mechanic always had many spare parts left over after repairing cars for a year, now he is repairing human bodys. Umm, Err, does anyone else see a problem here or is it just me ? I'm sure he has or should or would make a comedy sketch video of that. Imagine when he leaves emergency services and they open the bottom of his cubboard or tool box or emergency vehicle of his or whatever and they find a whole lot of different hearts and lungs and kidneys and livers ? Errr - boss they were just left over spare parts from previous jobs.
Huh, with all of your entertainment and energy... You found the 3 most boring, low energy, NYC annoying to everyone not from the city fake accent that no one else in NY state has... Huh, you chose these guys?

I absolutely love Jason, he’s genuinely a beautiful person. Fire Department Coffee is top notch, too. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out.
He has a special skill to broach tough subjects with just the right sense of humor. Wish I had that level of creativity!
