Zimmermann clothing is so dreamy, feminine and romantic! I had never heard of the brand until recently through Freddy my love (another TH-camr). Her style is very girly and pink, but I am trying to seek inspo from different fashionistas. Even though I gravitate toward solid neutral or simple print (stripes, polka dots) basics and staples, I love seeing other people wear colorful patterns and prints. My favorite look is the dress you're wearing throughout the video. The tie straps are adorable and girly, and I'm obsessed with that detail. Zimmermann prices are beyond my budget, but a girl can dream right? Great haul, lovely. :)

Hello Lauren! I really don't know where to start! The beautiful clothes, the beautiful scenery! Thank you for taking a walk at the Sydney opera😍 by the sea! I think I am getting a bit jealous as you have summer coming soon! I have only seen Zimmerman clothes in the UK. They are quite expensive, so I could only appreciate them on you! You look gorgeous! These are just so beautiful and dreamy pieces! The quality of the textile must be superb! The mini and the maxi dresses were equally beautiful to me! I even liked the one piece you found pre-loved! The colours, the print and design was just fantastic! And i don't wear that much florals or dresses any more! But these are the exception to the rule, and you will definitely enjoy them through summer! I have been to Santorini three times in the past! This island is out of this world! Although I haven't been in many Greek Islands, this is so special and unique that I visited several times in the past. I am sure, you will take beautiful photographs in front of this breathing scenery, wearing all these beautiful dresses!

If you come to Australia one day and want to purchase from Zimmermann, it will be cheaper to purchase items here 🛍 Really happy you liked the pieces, these are justified for me for Summer soon and then holidays next year 😉 I definitely have to get a lot of wear out of these now 💕👗🌺 It's wonderful you've been able to visit Santorini! 🏝 Such a gorgeous place...do you stay near Oia or Thira? The 3 blue dome churches are in Oia and I remember it was so busy there. @@LaurenGraceHarding I didn't know Zimmerman was Australian! It seems that you have some quite good designers! I suppose there must be additional cost anf taxes if buying from abroad. I cannot understand the sizing (size 0? You must be incredibly thin!). I would be a bit reluctant buying on line anything that is in different sizing, and quite expensive. Most likely i would make a mistake. I usually try clothes in shops to have a guide of their sizing, so i will not order the wrong size on line. Of course nothing beats buying in a shop. The whole experience is so much more satisfying than ordering on line! Even if you are only buying one simple item, no matter the cost. Walking around the shop, browsing, touching the textiles, trying on the ones you like. Even when you actually buy an item and walk away with the shops ' bag feels so nice! The Zimmerman boutiques was so unique and beautiful! It reminds me of an island shop, that seems to be carved in an actual cave! The clothes were all beautiful! My eye caught something white with broderie Anglaise, which I love! 😍 In Santorini I had stayed in Thira all three times, but went around to all the beaches (black, red, white) of the island, in all directions/locations! Of course nothing can compare with the sunset in Oia! I have also gone with the mini cruise to the two little islands inside the Caldera, and have "climped" the volcano! It is also interesting to visit thd ancient city of Fira at the edge of the island. Have you taken the route to the old port with the curvy wide pathway with the steps? Where you can walk down the clif (or ride the donkeys)? Or did you use the cable car? These are both fantastic! The white little houses placed on top of each other, and the infinite blue of the sea and the sky give you the illusion of flying! Such serenity, such breathing views! You know, you can go to Santorini and use the local boats that connect the nearby islands. Mykonos is quite close! You can island hop on snd off and spend a day in Mykonos without having to stay there! However, I haven't been to Kefalonia or Mykonos! I have heard really good comments from friends who have. They are quitd different, as landscape and type of vacation. Mykonos is in the Aegian sea, and is well known for its cosmopolitan vibe, parties, beautiful scenery, and celebrities ( Greek and from all over the world). Also much more expensive! You might just need 50€ for a salad or for renting a sun bed at the beach! Kefalonia is a much more green island (Mykonos and Santorini are dry rocks!) that combines beautiful beaches! It's in the Ionian sea, where islands have an Italian influence in their architecture, food and culture (used to be occupied by Italy). So they have a completly different flair! People from all ages visit it, and prices are a bit more down to earth. I would also suggest Rhodes, (also i haven't been) but is beautiful with great beaches, history and beautiful Venetian castles to visit! And I would also suggest Crete (which i have visited plenty of times) which is rather big island, but you could stay in one place and visit the rest! It is though an hours' drive from one city to the next. So maybe you might want to choose one place you really like! Wherever you go it will be great, and you'll have a good time, provided you have good company! If you pass from Athens I will be glad to help you out with the site seeing!
Yes it's an Aussie designer! I think so - it's my understanding Australians pay more for some overseas products and designers so for once it's nice for us to not have to pay more :-) The sizing is unusual - smallest size is a 0P which is suited to petites, then it goes to size 0 (which is equivalent of UK Size 4 or EUR Size 34). I've lost a bit of weight this year but I think that's mainly been due to stress, hoping to put some back on. It is so much better in-store and you're right, their boutiques have a lovely aesthetic, very conducive to trying on more items than you intended which is dangerous! Oh anything white with broderie anglaise is my weak spot so I understand what you mean... It sounds like you've really explored Santorini very well! I remember visiting one of the beaches (think it was either the black or red one) and I was surprised the sand was dark compared to the sand here in Australia, which is usually more beige/orange along the coast. The water was so calm and lovely in Santorini though...here we have a lot of waves - and sharks! I haven't taken that route to the old port on my visit or seen the cable cars or donkeys - I think that was up near Oia? I mainly stayed in Thira and then visited the beach one day and another day had a tour around the island and visited the different churches with domes, which I adore. Only four days there last time - next time I'd love to have a day on a boat and go exploring/island hopping! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Mykonos and Kefalonia - it sounds like they're quite different but equally amazing. I think I like the sound of Mykonos more for the vibes and scenery but then the green-ness and beautiful beaches in Kefalonia also sound lovely, so a hard choice! I hadn't heard of Rhodes so will do some research and I forgot about Crete! There is so much to see and do, I think I'd need a whole month just to explore the islands there :-) Will definitely let you know if I pass from Athens - I need to visit travel agent in the next month or so to start booking flights, etc. Thank you so much for sharing all this, it's really helpful and so exciting to talk about as well!
@@LaurenGraceHarding the sand in Santorini is black from the volcano! I always thought that if I ever visited Australia how would I swim at the beaches. Not only because of the waves but the sharks! I have read stories about sharks being able to swim undetected in shallow waters! I forgot to mention , Corfu! Also very popular! With a Venetian style! Very unique, and beautiful, with beautiful architecture, lots to see, apart from beaches, and great local cuisine. There is the Palace of Princess Sisi (have you seen the old movie of 1955 with the gorgeous Romy Schneider, that played the Austrian Princess, that moved to this palace in Corfu when she got ill?) During summer Corfu has direct flights from different countries. Whichever place you choose will be great! They are all beautiful and different!

@@LaurenGraceHardingsince I live in NJ, the beaches in jersey shore are awesome (if you did not pay attention mtv’s infamous tv show we as jerseynites don’t care about it) seaside heights is good boardwalk area. Also surprisingly nyc has public beaches too more famously Coney Island I been too as well with their amusement park and Nathan’s hot dogs. Too bad it’s fall over here but that means holidays is kicking off it’s plus.

You're absolutely right about the prices - it's an Australian designer so we are not charged as much here for the pieces, I think the overseas prices have VAT tax or imports added on. If you come to Australia one day and want to purchase from Zimmermann, it will be cheaper to purchase items here 🛍

It's wonderful you've been able to visit Santorini! 🏝 Such a gorgeous place...do you stay near Oia or Thira? The 3 blue dome churches are in Oia and I remember it was so busy there. Last time I stayed at Thira and loved it 🥰 I'd love to explore more islands like Myron's and Kefalonia as well....I never understood how blue the sea and sky could truly be, until I visited in Santorini...and those sunsets are unforgettable!!!! 🌅

I didn't know Zimmerman was Australian! It seems that you have some quite good designers! I suppose there must be additional cost anf taxes if buying from abroad. I cannot understand the sizing (size 0? You must be incredibly thin!). I would be a bit reluctant buying on line anything that is in different sizing, and quite expensive. Most likely i would make a mistake. I usually try clothes in shops to have a guide of their sizing, so i will not order the wrong size on line.
Of course nothing beats buying in a shop. The whole experience is so much more satisfying than ordering on line! Even if you are only buying one simple item, no matter the cost. Walking around the shop, browsing, touching the textiles, trying on the ones you like. Even when you actually buy an item and walk away with the shops ' bag feels so nice!
The Zimmerman boutiques was so unique and beautiful! It reminds me of an island shop, that seems to be carved in an actual cave! The clothes were all beautiful! My eye caught something white with broderie Anglaise, which I love! 😍
In Santorini I had stayed in Thira all three times, but went around to all the beaches (black, red, white) of the island, in all directions/locations! Of course nothing can compare with the sunset in Oia! I have also gone with the mini cruise to the two little islands inside the Caldera, and have "climped" the volcano! It is also interesting to visit thd ancient city of Fira at the edge of the island. Have you taken the route to the old port with the curvy wide pathway with the steps? Where you can walk down the clif (or ride the donkeys)? Or did you use the cable car? These are both fantastic! The white little houses placed on top of each other, and the infinite blue of the sea and the sky give you the illusion of flying! Such serenity, such breathing views!
You know, you can go to Santorini and use the local boats that connect the nearby islands. Mykonos is quite close! You can island hop on snd off and spend a day in Mykonos without having to stay there!
However, I haven't been to Kefalonia or Mykonos! I have heard really good comments from friends who have. They are quitd different, as landscape and type of vacation.
Mykonos is in the Aegian sea, and is well known for its cosmopolitan vibe, parties, beautiful scenery, and celebrities ( Greek and from all over the world). Also much more expensive! You might just need 50€ for a salad or for renting a sun bed at the beach!
Kefalonia is a much more green island (Mykonos and Santorini are dry rocks!) that combines beautiful beaches! It's in the Ionian sea, where islands have an Italian influence in their architecture, food and culture (used to be occupied by Italy). So they have a completly different flair! People from all ages visit it, and prices are a bit more down to earth.
I would also suggest Rhodes, (also i haven't been) but is beautiful with great beaches, history and beautiful Venetian castles to visit! And I would also suggest Crete (which i have visited plenty of times) which is rather big island, but you could stay in one place and visit the rest! It is though an hours' drive from one city to the next. So maybe you might want to choose one place you really like!
Wherever you go it will be great, and you'll have a good time, provided you have good company!

Yes it's an Aussie designer! I think so - it's my understanding Australians pay more for some overseas products and designers so for once it's nice for us to not have to pay more :-) The sizing is unusual - smallest size is a 0P which is suited to petites, then it goes to size 0 (which is equivalent of UK Size 4 or EUR Size 34). I've lost a bit of weight this year but I think that's mainly been due to stress, hoping to put some back on.
It is so much better in-store and you're right, their boutiques have a lovely aesthetic, very conducive to trying on more items than you intended which is dangerous! Oh anything white with broderie anglaise is my weak spot so I understand what you mean...
It sounds like you've really explored Santorini very well! I remember visiting one of the beaches (think it was either the black or red one) and I was surprised the sand was dark compared to the sand here in Australia, which is usually more beige/orange along the coast. The water was so calm and lovely in Santorini though...here we have a lot of waves - and sharks!
I haven't taken that route to the old port on my visit or seen the cable cars or donkeys - I think that was up near Oia? I mainly stayed in Thira and then visited the beach one day and another day had a tour around the island and visited the different churches with domes, which I adore. Only four days there last time - next time I'd love to have a day on a boat and go exploring/island hopping!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Mykonos and Kefalonia - it sounds like they're quite different but equally amazing. I think I like the sound of Mykonos more for the vibes and scenery but then the green-ness and beautiful beaches in Kefalonia also sound lovely, so a hard choice!
I hadn't heard of Rhodes so will do some research and I forgot about Crete! There is so much to see and do, I think I'd need a whole month just to explore the islands there :-) Will definitely let you know if I pass from Athens - I need to visit travel agent in the next month or so to start booking flights, etc. Thank you so much for sharing all this, it's really helpful and so exciting to talk about as well!
@@LaurenGraceHarding the sand in Santorini is black from the volcano! I always thought that if I ever visited Australia how would I swim at the beaches. Not only because of the waves but the sharks! I have read stories about sharks being able to swim undetected in shallow waters!
I forgot to mention , Corfu! Also very popular! With a Venetian style! Very unique, and beautiful, with beautiful architecture, lots to see, apart from beaches, and great local cuisine. There is the Palace of Princess Sisi (have you seen the old movie of 1955 with the gorgeous Romy Schneider, that played the Austrian Princess, that moved to this palace in Corfu when she got ill?) During summer Corfu has direct flights from different countries.
Whichever place you choose will be great! They are all beautiful and different!
Oh yes the sharks are here! 🦈 and box jellyfish too 🐡 I always swim close to the shore, much safer 😉

@@LaurenGraceHardingsince I live in NJ, the beaches in jersey shore are awesome (if you did not pay attention mtv’s infamous tv show we as jerseynites don’t care about it) seaside heights is good boardwalk area. Also surprisingly nyc has public beaches too more famously Coney Island I been too as well with their amusement park and Nathan’s hot dogs. Too bad it’s fall over here but that means holidays is kicking off it’s plus.
