Qualified P5 at my first time racing here at Oulton Park with a 2:09.139 and managed a fantastic start straight up to P3 by the 1st corner. There on in it was a fantastic race and battle with Dan Willars. After the car jumped out of gear at the chicane it gave him the chance to pounce.
Same mistake again allowed Richard Garrard past. I tried a move around the outside of T1 on the exit but I was squeezed off which was followed by a brown trousers moment.
Managed to finish the race in P8 with a 2:08.001 and received highest finishing novice 2nd time in a row but for the last time as now I am no longer classed as a novice.
