I think so too, but he wanted to downstack to the garbage quicker because he saw zetris setting up the combo
but the misdrop ruined it anyways, rip.

harddrop.com/wiki/Combo according to this, the 5 combo he was going for would’ve done more damage than tspin double. Plus it would’ve downstacked as well instead of forcing him to build up more with the L piece that was coming next
