Joseph Smith has always been a prophet of God. Because he had proved himself over and over again just like the prophets chosen by the Lord even today. I can verify the larger this church grows the more the critics repopulate themselves and in behalf of the work of Satan. I am grateful for the Holy Ghost to help me to be able to discern fiction from truth. I can see how the early church leaders and Joseph Smith could not deny the Church of Jesus Christ and the gift of translation of the Book of Mormon with the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. With this exciting gift from the Lord you could never go back to your old self. Once you know the truth you can't deny it. It becomes attached to your body and mind. Joseph Smith took truth to his grave and never could deny Truth. But we must never forget how Satan fell. We can all go to church to learn and not have a testimony of the truthfulness of what is being said until we ask our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ for the truth. Repentance will be a big part of our understanding This is our only strength provided by God and Jesus Christ so that we can separate ourselves from the world. It's too bad there is so many good Saints that fall-down through the sifter that cannot recognize the still small voice of the Holy Ghost that will be gone forever in this life. The church leaders and scriptures have been trying to teach us how to discern and recognize the promptings of the Holy Ghost ever since I can remember. Is it too simple to ask our Heavenly Father is this truth or fiction. You ask and you will receive an answer to your question , that is the promise given by our Lord Jesus Christ himself!
