easy way to REMOVE a “welch plug” in a carburetor

    Mine is a little loose, leaking. I suspect that's why I can start the trimmer with partial choke, but not full choke. It floods and stalls under choke or low speed, regardless of low speed screw setting. I think a leaking welch plug is causing excessive fuel even at low speeds. I think I could put a drop of sealant on the edge, like superglue... or... pop out the welch plug out with an air compressor (without losing it in the wind) and then bend it slightly and put it back in the hole. As long as it's not leaking that much through the plug the thing should run again.

    What are the symptoms when those tiny holes are clogget ? It's gonna bog down when throttle up the chainsaw ? Thx.
