There's a better way they could have connected the goblin villain Gundahar and Xander. They should be both be the same in their own societies. Maybe by making it so that we see goblin society outside of Gundahar and it is while not great is still better than under him. Maybe by having him thrown aside his own people's traditions and society in favor of making what he thinks is necessary to strike back against humanity and the High Goblin we see is instead the leader of the last resistance to Gundahar. Maybe by having these unexplained relics be connected to their culture and have Xander be like what Gundahar used to be. Maybe someone so blinded by prejudice and being shat on by those in power that they resolve to throw aside everything in favor of strength. Then maybe there would have been a better emotional story going on with Knack having a journey where he learns about what he is fighting for. I think that was the wood form since you get on fire and have to race against the clock and get wood to basically restart the arbitrary timer while playing the level
There was no Fire Knack in the first game- there were puzzles where Wood Knack would catch fire and you had to light torches before all the wood burned up. That or you'd catch fire, lose your wood armor, and be badly outmatched the next combat encounter because that game was shit!

Even WarioWare Gold on the 3DS had a better plot than Knack 2, and that game's story is just, "Wario wants to make money."
Knack 2 really is a decent game tho. I enjoyed it more than the first, at least in terms of its gameplay.
Edit: Who else thinks Knack would make a unique smash fighter?
The growth and shrink mechanics can be useful if on an actual character that the story is about.
0:00 it's canon now and i'm ok with it XD
One thing that i just can't wrap my head around in the lore, HOW THE FUCK DOES A CAVEMAN BEAT A HIGHLY ADVANCED ARMY OF ROBOTS?!?
That'd be like trying to fight in DOOM with nothing but melee! You'd get slaughtered.
I would say I don't know, but then I realized: the ewoks beat a crapload of walkers pretty easily.
@@Darklordjadow1 Star wars I'd accept, but in any other franchise i know, it wouldn't be possible.
@@shcdemolisher They do bother to explain how the cavemen defeated the titans (a separate group stormed Goblin HQ and took out the control equipment while all the mechs were elsewhere) but not how cavemen fought the mechs in general before then.
@@Darklordjadow1 That actually makes sense but it still doesn't answer the caveman part of it.
@@shcdemolisher If the robots were of Battle Droid build quality that might explain it, but otherwise no.
Been waiting for this.
8:48 Goodness Gracious...
26:32, Let's just add Sly 3 Honor Among Thieves and Persona 5 to the list of games this clearly takes from
And the latter is also a PS4 game. To anyone who hasn't played Persona 5, I'd HIGHLY recommend going for Royal if you can.
Cool dude 😎
You enjoy The Master of Disguise? May I ask why?
OOOOH Been waiting for this one
What if someone like Superman 64
I won't slam you for it, but I will question your taste in private
Question: why didn't you bring back Mr. Clipboard--- I mean, the "Representative of Sony and its' masterpiece, Knaaaaack"? (Sees that you brought him back at the end) Oh, uh... well, gee, I opened my mouth too soon, now didn't I? If you'll excuse me, I'll say this video is perfect and go eat some humble pie.
Mr. Clipboard in the first video was there to voice all the defenses of the game Sony had been firing off. Here... nobody really cares.
@@Darklordjadow1I see... but, who was he to knock you for your Star Fox wallpaper, though? Crystal's a fine-looking girl. Yeah, I said it!
@@Darklordjadow1 Also, your impression of Christopher Lloyd as Clipboard was as spot on as last time.
Comment for TH-cam appeasement.
Dunkey was joking about liking Knack 2 (because it was made when memes started becoming popular), this two games are also a joke, EXCEPT THEY DON'T MAKE YOU LAUGH
THEY MADE A SEQUEL?! FUDGESICLE!!
Have play crash bandicoot before?
I played almost to the end of the first game on the Crash N. Sane Trilogy. I liked it- just never got back to it.
@@Darklordjadow1 The first game suffered from "first game syndrome" where the mechanics were still very dirt simple because the devs still hadn't quite figured out the formula, also the N. Sane Trilogy version unintentionally makes some levels harder because of the change in physics.
The second and third game majorly improve the first one with more level gimmicks and variety while also expanding the moveset, although the third game tends to go overboard with the amount of vehicle levels.
@@elin111 The second game hit that sweet spot. Even if I still look back on the first game for curiosity sake.
Merry Christmas to you and your family my friend. Please tell all the guys on Twitter I wish them happy holidays and hope they are all safe and sound. I wish I could be there to wish it to you all in person, but alas...Twitter are gonna Twitter it seems. I'm on Discord now if you and anyone else would like to chat to me there.
I like your PS4 wallpaper. It is most worthy of being a wallpaper. A whole lot of sexy in that image.
Merry Christmas to you too, my friend. I'll need to get with you on Discord; I really miss chatting with you.
Glad you like my wallpaper too! Someone said they almost stopped watching at the sight of it because they thought they'd been "Krystal Rolled". I don't know what Krystal Rolling is, but leave it to me to invent it I guess.
@@Darklordjadow1 I'm guessing Krystal rolled is the same thing as the old rick roll gag that used to be a thing.
@@Darklordjadow1 Not sure why being "Krystal Rolled" would be a bad thing.....not to me anyways. XD
@@ShaunTheCHB It sure sounds like something that I would enjoy!
I tried adding you on Discord; I don't think I was successful.
@@Darklordjadow1 That's strange. Not sure why it didn't work. I managed to add MP as a friend but I had to have him send a request to me to add him. I'm still trying to understand Discord myself and figure out how it all works. It's quite complicated to use. It's definitely not as simple as Twitter is, I have tried to start up some topics and have got no hits so far. I tried to search your name and it didn't come up with anything.
The plot of both Knack games remind of those crappy live action movies based on a popular cartoon franchise, where the entire plot focuses on some boring generic human no one gives a shit about and the so-called main protagonist the movie is named after is barely relevant to the narrative.
Yeah, I've been there before...
So basically Garfield 1 + 2, Yogi Bear, The Smurfs and the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies.
@@dtxspeaks268 And the Sonic movie, though not as big offender the movie is still more about the boring generic human than Sonic. Same for Detective Pikachu.
@@elin111 nah Sonic and Detective Pikachu are actually good and are about the characters.
Plus Sonic and Pikachu are video game based movies.
@@dtxspeaks268 Both movies do give Sonic and Pikachu attention but both movies also very clearly have the human companion as the center of attention, the entire plot is about the generic human dealing with the character.
That little phone thing you had at the end was cool. What was that?
And as a guy who's writing 3 big fanfics at once, the fact that Knack drone on and on with no real point to it's writing makes my blood boil.
That is some Power Rangers toy I've had since I was a kid. It changes between a communicator, a gun, and a sword. I think it's from the Turbo series, but I'm not sure.
And I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the problem with Knack's writing.
@@Darklordjadow1 That is a really cool toy.
It's a blend of stupid characters, wasted potential, and walls of useless blabber. Never a good mix.
That Krystal theme is some big pp energy 👌
Knack 2 Baybeeee
yo where can I find that theme for my pc
what is the name of the theme I mean
found it
What's it called?
I don't know the names of any of these wallpapers; I just find them on Google.
@@Darklordjadow1 ah bummer
Was fire Knack a thing in the first game.
Ice is nice
I think that was the wood form since you get on fire and have to race against the clock and get wood to basically restart the arbitrary timer while playing the level
@@tomtcomOh ok thanks. :)
There was no Fire Knack in the first game- there were puzzles where Wood Knack would catch fire and you had to light torches before all the wood burned up.
That or you'd catch fire, lose your wood armor, and be badly outmatched the next combat encounter because that game was shit!
I Love This Already😂
Nick knack paddy wack give the dog a PS4.
Where did you get that theme?
The PS4 will let you make a custom theme. All you need to do is plug in a USB storage device, have a folder on it titled "IMAGES", and when you go to change your theme select the option "custom theme". The PS4 will let you use any image in that folder as your wallpaper as long as it falls within certain size restrictions. I also have some Yu-Gi-Oh wallpapers I've used in the past.
As for the wallpaper itself... Googled it.
Hello
Wait, did you actually say the game tries to make you hate the goblins who are supposed to represent ethnic/racial minorities? Me thinks the devs have some issues shall we say to work out. WHat do you think Jadow?
Who knows? Maybe the game takes its cues from James Cameron's Avatar, where a technologically advanced militia wipe out an ancient civilization for their own gain.
But hey, that can be interpreted to many things.
Not like the game itself has a solid narrative to begin with.
You're overhating is overrated, this game is fun. 8:40 Overrated.
Too right mate at least there's no 3rd game of the series
@@rickmartinez3268 Knack deserves to have a new sequel nowdays. Fact
Do sonic colors
Deleted my comment eh? Sorry for calling u names just hate the screaming.
I didn't do anything; I didn't even see it. TH-cam must have wiped it on its own.

0:00 ur furee
So shocker of shockers, the mediocre PS4 tech demo that got mandated by Sony to become a "franchise" turned out to also be mediocre, if only slightly less. And the story just... Baffles me. Who thinks this crap is interesting?
13:00 - heheheheheheheheh
Moral of the story: Knack is cack and Knack 2 is cack poo. Play the games that outsold it when it came out instead lmao.
Imagine being so mad over a kids game
It turns out Jadow is antifa now. Welcome to breadtube?
?
@@highcouncil1302 If you don't mind me disciecting the provorbal frog, I was referring to the antifascist rant near the end. "Breadtube" is loose association of leftist TH-cam channels inspired Peter Kropotkin's Conquest of Bread. There is a lot of infighting and arguments about who should be part of breadtube. Check out Philosophy Tube or Contra Points for the most popular examples.
