26:39 Vader eyes are sith yellow but at 27:04 if you pause it at the right time his eyes are blue, it’s a small detail but it really makes his death a lot more sad and meaningful with Obito allowing him to have one last peaceful moment with the person he loved before he dies 😢

Some people complain he should've been able to get out of that like Obiwan did with Kakashi and he was able to as you can see he was still seeing Obito in flashes my theory is that he willingly decided to stay in the dream as it was his most precious memory with his late wife, dude just wanted to believe even if it was just an illusion. Unlike Obiwan in the Kakashi fight was still young, he still had so much to do like teaching Anakin at the time.

Also, her power is tied to Trigon, just like how Jean’s power is tied to the Phoenix Force (which is a separate entity that just so happens to be with her).
The Phoenix Force is not Jean’s power. There has even been occasions where other people have it.
If we can’t allow Trigon’s power because it’s outside interference, then we can’t allow the Phoenix Force’s power either.

Phoenix at best has the potential of being stronger (not by much since both reach similar ranges)... if it weren't for the fact that Raven's entire power-set is specifically a hard counter towards Phoenix, so I wouldn't put my hopes in Phoenix "stomping".

Also not giving Obito the ten tails is kind of biased in favor of Vader don't you think? What about using film only Vader vs Junchuriki Obito, is that fair?

@@roobyrne3075 it's really questionable if Anakin really scales from any of the Mortis gods. Yes death battle brouth it up as a notable feat for Vader but didn't go in details. Probably because it's inconsistent. Anakin passed that test when he submitted both son and daughter but shortly after the son easily pushed away Anakin Obi wan and Ashoka. And Obi wan clearly wasn't a match for either yet he defeated an older and more experienced Anakin in revenge of the sith.
in the context of tge death battle its still a feat. overwhelming son and daughter, their own words, is a lowball uni+ feat. the son and daughter existed on mortis outside of time because their presence alone would tear apart reality and destroy the timeline.

Called it because fun fact Obito let Kakashi stab him to break the seal Madara put on him...he just didn't count on Minato slicing his spine so knowing this and seeing how close Kakashi and Obi was it was kinda clear who's getting jumped

After all 4 Marvel match ups in the previous season I knew the next one was not far off. I thought it would have been the finale since they were hyping up Phoenix Force all season. We have been given scaling many times, but it is time to see a full analysis on the Phoenix Force. Just how powerful is it? Spoiler is is Outerversal. Now, i love Raven. More so than Jean herself normally (I love Dark Phoenix though. That is my second favorite arc Marvel has ever done (And both movie attempts failed to capture the emotional weight of it since they crammed both attempts into a single movie BOTH TIMES) Dark Phoenix is a story that deserves an amazing adaptation.
I think Jean will win, and despite my Marvel preference i like Raven more, and while close i feel she just will come up slightly short. Hope we get a reference to how OP Jean was in MvC3

Darth Vader was actually "45" years old at the time of his death.
I never realized until I saw this death battle just how much sense it makes putting these two against each other.
at least Vader got a proper battle UNLIKE THAT Death Sentence of a Fight known as Vader Vs Doom
My favorite part about this battle is...well, no matter much damage he was taking, Vader just kept going. It took something as immense as the Infinite Tsukuyomi just to make him hold still.
For next Death Battle, I’m siding with Raven. I feel it’s honestly going to come down to comparing the Phoenix Force to Trigon. The Phoenix force is extremely powerful, but Trigon can and has defeated Darkseid in a fight. I don’t think the Phoneix force has ever battled or defeated anyone as powerful as Darkseid
Comparing Trigon to the Phoenix Force? That’s outside interference proving Raven can’t handle Jean without daddy’s help.
You people can’t rely on Devils. They all burn in the ashes of the Phoenix, which literally NEVER dies, EVER.
@@multiverse_media2023 your missing the point: both Jean Grey and Raven both draw energy directly from an outside force: Phoenix Force and Trigon. It’s going to play a part in the battle
@@multiverse_media2023 I honestly like both characters: but I do believe Raven is going to win. Compare the scale of their competition, and what they’ve done consistently. Raven is a lot more durable, and has more than just one form she can assume. Phoenix can only go to Dark Phoenix, while Raven has two different forms she can assume
They're more than likely gonna have them both as comparable if anything, so more so just a powers thing and who has better control.

Unfortunately this DB was BS. Genjutsu works by manipulating chakra, which characters outside of Naruto don't have. Plus they gave Obito power he had for all of 30 minutes and needed outside help to obtain. Giving him the 10 tails is like letting Goku fuse with Vegita. Also Vader has broken out of similar illusions, specifically ones that involve him being happy or Padma, which just makes even more angry.

The thing is, in Raven VS Twilight Sparkle they said Scarlet Witch or Jean Grey would've curbstomped Raven.
That was over five years ago, though. Things very well could’ve changed in their assessment of and/or the material available for any of those characters.

Here's a fun force fact: The reason there's only ever two proper sith is because the dark side actually gets weaker the more people use it, so to stay as strong as possible sith keep their numbers low and regularly backstab each other

Secondly: the history of the Sith says they betrayed each other due to their creeds of always following their desires and seeking more power (not by gaining power through making less Sith, but by taking the secrets and knowledge from the temples of their fellows).
This was a good reaction I hoped Vader would win but I agree with the results also the three who forms the Original Akasuki are Nagano, Konami and Yakiho basically Ginger haired Naruto.

You mean the "God Vader" that was literally just a Force vision Anakin underwent as Vader where he basically went through the events of Episode 3 but winning this time only to still lose everything?
Yeah...no. It was a glorified "what if" scenario projected through the Force with no actual tangible feats. A full potential Sith Anakin had that capability, but the *reality* was that that's all it is: just potential, unfulfilled yet ironically ending in the same result for him - the loss of Padmé.
Especially considering Luke ends up having a similar vision (with even his right hand mismatched in color from his spirit body similar to his father's from the limbs severed in the physical world) and literally seems the "God Vader" vision happening live despite Anakin going through it years prior - because it was a projection across the timeless Force, not a manifestation in reality. Vader got to experience what could have been and what little would have changed, and Luke saw it as well, but that is all; what Obito had he at least achieved physically and not it being some potential form or power.

If Vader is incapable of becoming "God Vader" outside of a glorified vision quest, it's a moot point for an actual fight. But sure, continue to completely miss the entire point of that sequence from the comics and take it as some gospel that Vader has somehow unlocked a Super Sith transformation. That he proceeds to never "use" or even see ever again afterwards.
The potential Anakin had is unreal, way beyond Vader and even beyond full power Master Luke, and that's the key word: had. The moment Mustafar happened, the moment he was bound to the suit, really the moment he fell (as we saw in his vision, where even his fully formed Sith essence that could defeat the entire Council and Emperor was incapable of saving Padmé), he was capped, his potential cut off. And we see it now, say what you want about the new canon, in Ahsoka with him basically becoming the best version of himself and as skilled and powerful as he ever was or could be...but only able to achieve that balance, his potential as the Chosen One, with redemption brought on by Luke and his death. God Vader is a pipedream, a literal manifestation of cope from Anakin in thinking that if things were just a bit different, he could have taken everyone down, saved everything and everyone he loved. But it's all just a lie he had to come to terms with by seeing firsthand that nothing changed, even with the potential power and control he may/could have had.

Thing is by the books Palpatine did actually come back...not in that same way of course. But he had a whole planet with clones of himself, so when he died he would shift over to a new body. But there was no Rey, none of this New Order stuff, and Luke if I remember right dealt with it himself personally.

Kakashi doesn't have as much going on as Obito though. His Kamui can't make him phase through and he can't heal off wounds like Obito did.

@@averagegamecritic Not really, and this isn't me being a Naruto fanboy. Obito won because of all the reasons listed at the end, the only thing vader had going for him was the combat experience. Outside of that Obito's abilities are just too varied and cracked, especially when you throw the Ten Tails and the amp it gives him into the mix.
good thing darth vader didnt just break obito's neck, stop his heart or force kill him with he force.
Even if vader did those things. Obito still has the hasirama cells so he could have just regenerated the damage

@@AXSofHFDSsame with the truth seeking orb, the difference between obito and Vader is that Obito has the option to retreat and heal indefinitely. while Vader can heal himself with the force, he cannot simultaneously heal and fight on par with obito. Who can conjure up multiple clones that can spam Vader with ninjutsu that has great aoe to keep the pressure on Vader to defend. Eventually Vader is going to slip up and one slip up is enough for Obito to tag Vader with the truth seeking orb.
@@cyberwolfy37Not to mention, the implication being that somehow Force telekinesis can work when Kamui subconsciously activates. So unless Vader is literally performing telekinesis on a body or parts or organs in a separate dimension, technically he shouldn't even have been able to Force pull or push or choke Obito at all, much less to the extent he did in the animation.

Because it was a vision in the Force of "what could have been" for Anakin and not an actual tangible form/transformation? It's not even like an alternate timeline where Anakin wins vs Obi-Wan and then becomes so powerful that he just goes back to Coruscant and kills everyone, including Palps...he basically experiences a "catharsis" moment of acting out his believed regrets and strikes out essentially a revenge fantasy, only to still lose Padmé. Because that was his real regret and he played it out differently using the Force like a digital simulator, just to see himself losing Padmé anyway.
"God Vader" is not based in actual reality. Luke literally shows up, years later from when Vader experienced the vision in the Force, and see Vader enacting his "God Vader" simulation...all of it is just a projection of wills in the timeless Force, not some new transformation where Vader unlocked his potential and shoved everyone in lockers. It would have been nice to have DB maybe mention it to put it to bed, I agree, but it wasn't an actual mode or form Vader can take that would matter in a fight.

1. Being the Bijuu Jinchuuiriki gave him all the advantages, like indefinite supply of Chakra, healing factor plus Kamui. Plus, the mercy finisher with the Infinite Tsukuyomi is beautiful.
2. Jean Grey's predicted victory via Pheonix Force may be the case, butRaven and her Soul Self are no joke either; having the durability equal to Dona Troy, who can endure moon busting attacks, and Raven's Dark Form may give her a chance, and god help us if Trigon shiws up because Raven can't keep him contained for long.

One can only imagine the intensity of the Raven and Jean Grey's fight would be too much for the former's mental state, leading to a fight with the Pheonix Force and Trigon. 😰

This episode was excellent but also incorrect. they don’t give vader a bunch of the more obscure shit he has, and downplayed his sheer power considerably. If they had got the winner right he could have just crushed the moon but nope we aren’t that lucky and they got it wrong. Nobody’s perfect IG
