Here to say that you’ve inspired me to do this system, a little on budget though but I’m currently 50% away from completing it to this extend. Thanks for showing us this masterpiece. Still need the containers which having so many like that is expensive sadly!
Wow do you still have this system ? It is amazing if you still have it please make a video of how you made it and all the components you used. That would help a lot of us so much!
how is the water draining? I only see output lines. Are there holes in the rear of each container? I am building a barracks soon but I'm getting some ideas to give max efficiency.
how does the water drain out of the container ( i.e. the outflow)? i didn't see the tubing for water flowing out to the drainage pipe cos angle of video not so clear. How does the outflow occur? thks
this is amazing, I would like to know how made your sump. Oh and how do you clean the jars or does your system do self cleaning. how often do you need to change the sump.
Did you find out how the flush system works? I want to make this system but still, have my doubt about it if you guys make the system and want to help will be awesome!!
i was wondering where did you get those containers for the bettas? cause i well love the have a good collection of bettas but i dont want to have a lot of tanks in my room lol
OML where I live the Bettas are kept in little plastic cups that easily break and they can't even swim around it. More pet stores need to keep Bettas like this
+Jahaira Garcia You can get them from US Plastic here is the link www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=63294. This one is a bit larget it is 128oz (1 gal) for $1.80 ea. Very cheap I have purchased and use them before very good. I think the one used here is 98oz which they also have.
Sorry I didn't see your message before. David is correct. These are 98oz. The 128 are better for the Bettas, but then you have to put less containers in the system. If quantity is not an issue, go with larger container. Here is the link where I got them. www.ccwproducts.com/mprod3.php?cat_id=157
David Wy The only option they have for shipment in US Plastic is UPS Ground and they charge $86.86 to Florida if you know anything else please let me know thanks.!!
Yes! We have a big selection of imported bettas every month. Visit our store and check out what we have on sale at the moment by clicking the link. stores.ebay.com/My-Water-Pets?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
I'm sorry Penelope, there was no blue print. It was all measuring, cutting and putting it together. And thank you for watching Khhing Kong or whatever your name is.
I will be setting up a similar drip unit with 2 gallon glass jars, I get a kick out of those cement grow out tubs over there in Thailand. I have My first school of fry - Navy blue and white Butterfly Male & Blue Dragon with full mask Female X, It will be interesting to see what they look like in 3 months. If they grow. Fingers crossed. Amazing how small they are.
Sólo tengo algo que no me gusta. .. Están en plástico, lo cambiaría por cristal ya que el plástico suelta sustancias tóxicas para los peces. Por lo demás muy organizado y práctico. Felicidades
+SuperBetta USA How do you close those outflows when you want to remove the containers for selling/maintenance? Great project btw, I'm glad to find smart betta caretakers.
I think you should educate yourself about Bettas, and the way they habitat in the wild. These are not 8 oz. cups like they have them in most pet stores. My containers are 98 oz. with a constant flow of fresh filtered water. That's plenty of room, and clean water for them to be healthy and happy. Can you tell they are? But thank you for watching anyways.
+SuperBetta USA i have mine in 25 liter whit plants and sand mangroverot.try and imitate how the live for real..but i can understand its pain to do that whit all those small tanks.but you could have one plastic plant or somthing for them to hide behind.we have slightly different view of betta care hehe.i never been a big fan off glass bowls .

SuperBetta USA You have to register to figure out their prices. How much for each container? I'd probably start with 10 to 20.
Eric Schumann It's $35 for a case of 16 containers plus shipping. You have to buy a minimum of 1 case.secure.ccwproducts.com/ccwDist/order.php

which of your jars you think are better the tall ones or the shorter ones
The shorter ones are much better.
Yeah, shorter jars are recommended as betta as to reach to the surface for air
