Hello, great video. Can you maybe please show how to connect the grinder wires to the main machine? I know where the white cable from the grinder goes to, but what about the red? Cant seem to find anything that fits.
@@FellowTraveler237 goes to the PCB board. You should have taken photos before dismantling. Searching for motherboard pictures online may help you find a picture where you can see how the wires are connected. I wouldn’t know on top of my head. I would know if I worked on the machine.
Hi! Thanks a lot for your video, it is very clear and helpful ! This machine is sooo technical, I couldn’t expect a better explanation 😅 . I do face an issue after having cleaned my machine, it makes a lot of noise so I think I have made a mistake somewhere … but cant find the origin… is there any way to contact you and share a video of my problem to get your advice ? Thank you !
oh... I see. I was clearing the compact ground coffee out of the grinder. This grinder doesn’t have many small parts like the older ones that have the 3 small ball bearings and springs under the middle burr. Its easy to loose those if you’re not careful.
Hi, I have a Jura Giga 6 and it seems the grinder setup is slightly different. I am getting an error 11 and have found a small stem/piece of wood jammed in the grinder that I can't clear. Do you have any videos showing the removal and disassembly of a Giga line grinder?
Hey, don’t have any videos at the moment. You can remove the small grind adjustment motor(it’s screwed on to the grinder) and then turn the collar anti clockwise which will open the gap between the discs. Maybe that’s enough to remove the debris if not you’ll have to remove the top disc. Make sure you put everything back exactly as it was otherwise it’ll be out of calibration. Take pictures of things and positions.
I'm also struggling with a non grinding Jura Machine (impresa Z6). It starts, all remains quiet, and after a few seconds the 'no beans' alert shows up. The beans sensor works as the indication 'no beans' disappeared when I covered the sensor. The issue started as we - by accident - filled the machine with black beans, what completely clogged it. I conclude it is either the motor and the white switch alongside the grinder. What is the function of that switch (I see you the same switch in your video) ? Any thoughts about next elimination steps?
Hi, yes that white overload fuse is blown. It needs to be replaced. Also you need to clean out the grinder as why the fuse is blown in the first place is because some foreign object may have fallen into the grinder and caused it to jam/overload. Also the same issue can happen when grind setting is set to too fine which causes the ground coffee to clog up and blow the fuse.
@@margomorozov14 thanks for the answer. Am I right thinking that if I connect the cables and bypass the switch, I can confirm this is the issue? Any thought where I can buy a new one? Yes the grinder is now 100% clean.
@@arnaudvanrietschoten5109 Yes if you bypass the thermal fuse it will work. Jura UK stopped selling to the public so not sure how’s in your country. Search online “Jura Z6 grinder thermal fuse” and see what comes up.
