Trout Fishing Ryder Park | Idaho Falls, ID

In this video, the SaTan Baits Crew made a quick stop by Ryder Park in Idaho Falls, Idaho while vacationing in Idaho. This park consists of two small fishing ponds. The smaller, top pond is called Becker Pond. While the bigger, bottom pond is called Ryder Park Riverside Pond. It turns out that both ponds were stocked by the Idaho Fish and Game that week. Becker Pond received 750 6”+ Rainbow Trout (triploids) and Ryder Park Riverside Pond received 500 6”+ Rainbow Trout (triploids).
It didn’t take long to find out what the trout were biting on in both ponds. Although, we got hit on the 1/32 oz. Mini Jigs, that jig was too big for us to hook the small trout. Therefore, we switched to the smaller, 1/64 oz. Mini Jigs. We were still missing bites on the 1/64 oz. Mini Jigs due to the quick, short bites by the trout, but the hook up ratio was greater than the 1/32 oz. Mini Jigs.
