not to get all trauma dumpy but i really relate to a lot of the lyrics in this song. i had an older brother who was 7 years older than me who molested me when i was nine. i had always looked up to him because i always saw him as a strong and confident person, while i was always hypersensitive and shy around people. it really hit me deep when i first heard the lyric 'i was too young to notice that some types of love could be bad' because it really didn't even occur to me that what he had been doing to me was wrong until years later and despite everything he did, i still have a piece of me that still wants to strive to become like what i saw him as, and it very genuinely scares me knowing that a piece of him is tied to such a fundamental part of me.
