Behind the Kona Makai 1 of 3 - Island Horizon Videos 1587

In the late 80’s,
before my parents moved into the house they built,
they lived at the Kona Makai Condos on Alii Drive.
Which is where these three videos were filmed.
The first time I went to the Big Island of Hawaii
was to help my parents moved into their house.
That is when I fell in love with the island.
A couple years later I moved my family here.
About five years ago I helped them move out of the house.
Now I’m the only one living here.
Don’t feel bad,
I love living here, probably more than ever before.
In the second half of the video,
Look for the boat pulling the parachute.
