The songwriters who wrote this song for the musical "Dear Evan Hansen" also wrote the songs for "The Greatest Showman"
Voctave is in a class all by themselves
Voctave does a lot of Disney because all of them either are or were Disney cast members. Several sing with the Voices of Liberty at Epcot. I had the chance to see them live on tour last year and they're just as amazing in person.

The lead singer in the center of the screen during the early parts of the song is Jamey Ray, and he is the group's arranger. He's a genius and exceptionally talented vocalist. Every single one of them is a world-class talent on their own; bring them together, and it's pure perfection.

One thing that's truly impressive about Voctave is that they've produced such an exceptional body of work despite being a part-time group.
Definitely check out "Disney Princess Medley" for solos from all 5 women, and "Disney Heroes & Villains Medley" for solos from all 6 men. "Prince of Egypt Medley" might be their best work to date, and "Someone Like You" featuring Jody McBrayer is a powerhouse collaboration.
Greatest Showman’s music was written by Pasek and Paul, who also did the music for Dear Evan Hansen (this song is from that musical. ) So there is a good reason this makes you think of the Greatest Showman. :)
Nice reaction.... and like Davetunes said, Voctave is an 11 member group with all of them having sung ( some still fill in) with the Voices of Liberty at Epcot, Disney World Florida.It is a HUUUGE rabbit hole to go down. Having 11 singers sets them apart from Voice Play, PTX etc... because they do not have to add layers in the studio. They have all possible harmonies covered.Try The Great Movie Medley where THEY ARE the orchestra ( only 1 song has lyrics) It is a medley of the great John Williams' movie theme songs.
People who have seen them live say they are every bit as good their albums/videos.
The virtual choir had over 900 people from 55 different countries and was done in the middle of the pandemic. Jamey Ray is the genius arranger for them ( and has arranged for PTX ,Voice Play and others).EVERYONE in the group is amazing singers and you will be blown away by their real coloratura soprano Kate. ( her top range is unreal) Have fun.

This is the group that Omar Cardonas' brother EJ Cardona is in. Who has done a couple of covers with VoicePlay. "I Can't Make You Love Me" and "GO THE DISTANCE"
and Omar was recently in the top 5 of The Voice last season :)

Hi there !! Welcome to the family. I will organise more of Voctave. This is my first reaction to them and I’m aware I haven’t organised more but I’m slowly going to fix that. This channel is big and vast and the categories are crazy but I will get to more of them 😊
