      came here to check out Chinatown in Lagos (there are many Chinatowns all over the world, not really a surprise), but turns out these guys were a little too uncomfortable with the the prospect of Chinese culture in Africa. You made the Nigerian guy angry in the comment section, now you made me angry too. How can you ask if Kosovo is a country and later say is a province of Serbia, first of all USA is the first country in the world to accept Kosovo as independent country; George Bush is the president that declared Kosovo independent in Tirana, Albania.
    USA and other NATO countries bombed the hell out of Serbia because of Kosovo/Albanians and I am one of them. Bro, I am sorry but your ignorance at this episode is scary.....be careful how you talk about your allies. We had troops in Afghanistan and Iraq; always ready to support military operations there and anywhere in the world. You have to understand that Albania,Kosovo and all Albanians living in Montenegro, North Macedonia are the most pro Americans you can find in the world.
    Travel to Albania ones and you will experience it yourself.
    Returning to Kosovo, it is actually called Dardania that is the real name of the region. Kosovo is a name given by the slavic invasion of east Europe 600 to 700 AD, so have in mind that all slavic people in East Europe are invaders. Please get informed and read history before talking about sensitive topics like this.

    • @JustLifeTravels
      @JustLifeTravels  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Im very aware of a lot of Albanian/Serbian history aswell ad the other countries that have ethnic Albanians or in greeces case ethnic Greeks causing border tensions with each other over ethnic lines. We said it as a joke because in the USA there is no debate of Kosovo’s status as a country it’s fully accepted. But it’s sort of a meme on TH-cam for content creatures that people are afraid to mention Kosovo ever because Albanians and Serbians are quick to get upset about the issue.

    • @stardeastroyer
      @stardeastroyer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    It's not nice that you took off your facemask after entering Lagos China Town. You have to learn to obey rules and regulations when you visit other countries. Don't feel entitled just because you are a foreigner in Nigeria. I have been your subscriber, but this behavior of yours doesn't sit well with me. Respect Nigerian rules. Also, wrong telling the other guy to say something racist about China....and the silly joke about Chinese and eating dogs....and asking the Nigerian waitress if she's Chinese, was disrespectful and unnecessary... Respect Nigerian women please... and the other guy pulling his eyes sideways at the end of the video trying to mimic Chinese was racist!.... really considering unsubscribing right now... You guys sound drunk here... or is it just your bad character showing?... why are you guys so bad in this video?.. You guys should apologize to your viewers for this crap content... The taking off your mask when you enter a place is what almost everyone does across Nigeria that’s why we did it. Asking her if she is Chinese is simple joking around and not racist. Eating dog is also not racist, people do eat dog in China in a later Video we even eat dog in Nigeria peoples cultural foods aren’t racist. @@JustLifeTravels I knew you guys would try to wiggle your way out of the issues expressed here... to start with, nowhere in my text above did I say eating or talking about dog meat was racist... I said it was unnecessary because it was clear that you were trying to be stereotypical about what Chinese eat....you know I caught your intentions there and called you out for it. What about you telling the guy at the start of the video to say something racist about China...was that a joke?...who jokes about things like that?
      When people were being lynched in America in the slave years, people made silly statements that were clearly racial in nature and called it joking. Blacks ended up losing their lives for those "jokes". Even in modern-day America, some people say offensive things and call it jokes...calling something a joke doesn't make it OK. It's not Ok to be offensive and call things a joke. Learn to take constructive criticism. Your channel could even receive a strike from TH-cam for some of the things said in this video.
      Nigerians are very smart people and can catch you when you are being offensive. Nigerians do not tolerate anyone insulting their intelligence. Your subtly ignorance about culture and lack of respect for Nigeria and rules of engaging with Nigerians are clear and obvious. Like I said earlier, and remember this... the video will hunt you for years to come when people reference it. The sign of true maturity is learning to take corrections and advice and admitting when you do something wrong. I guess you guys haven't gotten to that stage of realizing how offensive this video was to many people, yet. You don't even have to tell me and others who agree with me that you guys were offensive in this video to leave your channel... I have already unsubscribed.
