    Hold up. Dude mounted winch with mounting bolts going forward and through the fairlead instead of going down through a winch plate? I've never seen that before.

      If it’s a winch bar, then yes.
      if it’s not a winch bar then no - it’d need to be braced or fit a winch cradle. It depends more on the bar as these winches have the same standard bolt pattern as all others
      Cheers!

    Gday mate installed mine yesterday and only spools out not pulling? The wiring looks as the way yours so what did I do wrong?

    • @4wdsupacentreAu
      @4wdsupacentreAu  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Double check the wiring - have you mixed up the earth wire (black wire direct from battery to earth terminal underneath the winch) and the black wire that goes from the control box to the black winch terminal ( next to red and yellow terminals)

    • @antocuares5022
      @antocuares5022 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah same problem but the wiring connections are good so what else could it be I can hear a clicking sound only but not pulling

      I know this was a while ago but did you get this sorted. Mine doing the same on install. Will feed out but not in. Wiring looks how it is in manual, worked for about 30 seconds than nothing.

      @@johnkeenan3988 hi mate thanks for your comment here ended up taking it back they replaced it with a newer model and worked fine so I guess the unit was faulty

      @antocuares5022 Thanks mate, will check wiring again and if doesn't work will contact them. Took a whole weekend to fit because I had to modify stuff to get it in, now have to pull it back out. 😒

    What size inline fuse is used in on the cable

    • @4wdsupacentreAu
      @4wdsupacentreAu  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi There,
      The winch does not come with a fuse.
      You can install one however at full load the winch can draw ~430A and would need a fuse big enough to support this kind of current draw. For this reason most do not install a winch, but disconnect it from battery when not using for a period of time.
      Cheers
      Saleha
