唐武德九年，内廷生变，原太子之女李长歌侥幸逃出。逃亡途中，长歌偶遇化名为秦准的草原部落特勤阿诗勒隼，两人不打不相识，渐生英雄相惜之感。长歌在幽州粉碎一场阴谋，与此同时身份败露，前往㮶州避祸。她藏于㮶州刺史公孙恒身边，助其共抗草原势力侵袭，却未想到敌方将领隼竟是旧识秦准。长歌震惊痛心。然而㮶州情况危急，为争取时间等待援兵，李长歌与隼谈判，为大局甘愿沦为战俘被押往草原，意外得知大可汗另有野心。长歌决定暂放私仇，以身涉险拼死破局，隼为救长歌不惜与大可汗为敌，两人却阴差阳错天各一方。长歌辗转流亡，历经风雨的她逐渐领会仁者无敌的道理，最终彻底放下个人恩怨。在发现前隋势力才是挑动事端的幕后黑手后，长歌与隼联手为守护大唐与草原的和平贡献了自己的力量，两人也终于认清了对彼此的情感，携手共赴危局。
►Synopsis ：
In the 9th year of Wude Period of Tang Dynasty, Li Changge, the daughter of the former crown prince, accidentally escaped from the military coup in the palace. During her escape, Changge encountered the secret service agent of a grassland tribe, Ashina Sun, who was under the pseudonym of Qin Zhun. They got to know each other through a fight and their affection grew stronger. Changge smashed a conspiracy in Youzhou. However, at the same time, her identity was revealed, and she went to Shuozhou to escape capture. She hid herself beside Gongsun Heng, the governor of Shuozhou, to help him resist the invasion of the grassland forces, but she did not expect that the enemy general was Qin Zhun. Changge was shocked and distressed to discover Qin’s real identity. However, the situation in Yuzhou is in great danger. In order to gain time for reinforcements, Li Changge negotiated with Sun. For the sake of the overall situation, she was willing to be a prisoner and taken to the grassland. Then she accidentally learned that the Great Khan had an ulterior motive. Changge decided to temporarily put aside her personal vengeance, and risk her life to save the situation. In order to save Changge, Sun disobeyed the order of the Great Khan, but they were far apart from each other after that. After going through the arduous exile, Changge gradually understood the principle of the invincibility of the benevolent, and finally put aside her personal grievances. After discovering that the former forces of Sui Dynasty were the manipulators behind the scenes, Changge and Sun teamed up to protect the peace of Tang Dynasty and the grassland. They finally came to realize their deep affections towards each other and went to confront the crisis ahead.

In the beginning, I thought I would be sad if Mimi Guli dies because she's a close friend of Changge and because I like her and Mujin to have a happy ending but now I really won't feel bad at all because of the countless times she betrayed and harmed Changge and A'Sun. I understand she's being blackmailed with Buzhen and Mujin's lives but Changge and A'Sun already know of her being a spy and connection with Yicheng. She just needs to give Changge heads up and be honest with her and they could make plans to save her brother and Mujin. They could make it seem she's following orders and still find opportunity for rescue. Maybe she did and it's all part of Changge's plan but still the alliance agreement was put at risk. I just don't feel as invested on her character now unlike before because it has become repetitive. She's a deadweight right now.
Also, how can Hao Du cry beautifully? I've seen many male actors cry but Hao Du cries differently in this episode. Maybe because he's now full of love and glowing.

As I was reading the comment section on the previous episode, I don't get why some people are angry at Mimi, so far she didn't sabotaged Changge and if she did she would later on seek help from Changge. However, after watching this episode I now understand 😟😔 Mimi betrayed them at a very crucial moment. It's just so sad 😭

thank goodness for the subplots, like Ha du, Leyan, Mimi ,Mu jin, caused they really acted out their characters so well and they evolved throughout the seriies, cause sometimes this series feels like its dragging his feet for a conculsion.
I on the other hand, felt like the subplots were what was pulling this show back, pace-wise. Because they really wanted to make HaoYan happen, lots of extra fluff was added, in my honest opinion.
