PCS ਅਤੇ UPSC ਵਰਗੇ Exam ਭਾਵੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅੱਜੇ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਫਸਰ ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਿੱਤਾ।
ਸਾਡੀ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ Speaker ਗੁਰਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਦੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਤੇ 12ਵੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ UPSC ਵਰਗੇ Civil Service Exam ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ MCM DAV ਕਾਲਜ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ Graduation ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ UPSC ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਆ ਗਈ ਤੇ ੯ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ 2020ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਸਕ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ Attempt ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਹ EXAM clear ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ PCS EXAM(BATCH 2022) ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ Attempt ਦੇ ਨਾਲ DSP ਦਾ Physical ਵੀ Clear ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੱਸੀਸਟੈਂਟ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਵੱਜੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

Exams like PCS and UPSC are not a topic of much discussion among the youth of Punjab, but even today some youth have dreamed of becoming an officer and made it come true.
Today's Speaker Gursimranjit Kaur also had a dream from her childhood and started preparing for the Civil Service Exam like UPSC only after the 12th. She graduated from MCM DAV College, Chandigarh, and then went to Delhi for UPSC Preparation prepared herself for 9 months, and made his first attempt for UPSC in 2020. She did not clear that exam for some reason, then she gave the PCS exam(BATCH 2022) and Cleared with the first attempt and the DSP physical. And today she is appointed as Assistant Commissioner in Amritsar.

ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਪੜੇ ਹੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ, ਨਾ ਘਰੋਂ ਇਹਨੇ ਜੋਗੇ ਰਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਤਾਂ ਸੁਪਨਾ photograpger ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਮਹੇਨਤ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਮਿਲੁ, 4 ਸਾਲ ਹੋਗੇ ਧੱਕੇ ਖਾਂਦਿਆਂ, ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਘਰੋਂ ਵੀ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਮਿਲਣੋ ਹਟ ਗਈ
