I wouldn't blame you. You are the first girl to grace BSC. Personally, I wish it was me, but like Ted, I'm a freshman in college and have no life because of too much work. Good luck with them nonetheless and I hope to see the raws you contribute in the future! ^-^
The single-player chaingun in Syndicate 2012 should've been in the list, damn it. It has unlimited ammo, is so powerful that it kills enemies in a few shots by cutting them clean in half, you can run with it, you can charge it up at any time so you can shoot it immediately, and it just feels so good to use due to general aesthetics.
The answer to Johnny's question on what system Another World is on, It was released on both the SNES and the Mega Drive, and it's one of those very difficult to work out to complete games, but it does have a password feature.
I hate to dwell on this, but since everyone else is, I'd just like to say that anyone who bashes SaSF for sounding like a fangirl needs to stop and think: If you were invited to hang out with the guys at BSC or anyone you consider a personal "hero," would you be able to stay composed? Say what you will, but I highly doubt most people would. Honestly, I find SaSF to be a refreshing addition to the team, not just because she's a girl but because she has unique and interesting things to say.
I personally think you're a great edition to the team:) Your hyper-activeness is what makes you a unique member of the team, and makes you entertaining to listen to
Ted is the one with the Cyndaquil, Lewis is the one with the star, Ryan is in the center(I wish I knew what the hell he's holding though), Johnny is wearing the hood, and is holding Storm Eagle's head, and lastly in the back is Eliot. Don't believe me? Watch their FAQ, where they answer this question.
Yo Yos were originally weapons, and Legos were used to deter people from entering an area with intense pain if stepped on. Only one of these popular toys had thier designs changed.
I can still explain that FF8 gunblade is done like this. The gun part, in the barrel, that each time you pull a trigger, whatever is inside the barrel would hit the blade causing a vibration which would lead to immense damage. Just imagine being stab by it, having the trigger pulled and the blade shaking so hard, you're most likely die from shock. Quite the innuendo huh?
I'm surprised you guys didn't know about the Unreal stuff! Back in the day, Unreal Tournament was the multiplayer FPS of choice. Look it up on TVTropes sometime - you'll learn a lot.
The handle still makes it difficult to wield sword wise, though that's something Squall got use to I suppose. Other gunblades can be related to Monster Hunter's Gunlance, where the weight along with the blade end can be used rather effectively with the burst of the bullet. For normal people these sorts of weapons would be useless because of recoil, but in the context of the superhumans we always play as in games, they can get use to it and can wield it with proficiency.
As a counter to Ted's "Portal gun is not a weapon" argument. A gun is not a weapon either by his logic, since a gun simply hits a bullet so it hits a target. A portal gun enables stuff to hit other stuff at high velocities.
I'm actually willing to defend the gunblade's (particularly Squall's gunblade) position, sort of. In terms of a real gun, the design doesn't make sense, but as we've seen from both FF8 and Dissidia, the gunblade has explosion properties, which could sort of explain what the pistol chambers are used for. Not necessarily bullets, but perhaps a collection of magical energy that can burst from the blade itself (magic makes that sort of stuff possible).
The Vector Cannon shoots through dimensions... As an actually weapon you need to be really skilled and lucky to use it as something that kills enemies.
stupidest thing about blue shells in mario kart: if you use a blue shell you've been holding while in first place it blows you up even though you threw it!
My top weapon- the T-1000. If you command it entirely, you can tell it to act as a suit neck-down, therefore being the ultimate melee. Robots don't count as characters.
And if SaSF is gonna ever come back, I hope she gets through the fangirl-itis soon. I find it adorable, but it might not sit well with others, the BSC crew included.
The Dragon Sword of Ninja Gaiden should've been in there somewhere. It's like the Master Sword, but with a darker history, and almost being demonic in nature.
While the name "Laser gun" for the weapon in Another world might sound uninspired, it is the best weapon to ever carry that name. 1-hit kills, charged attacks to pierce shields, a shield generator to make it just as much a defensive weapon as it is offensive & while alot of laser beams in games just act like regular bullets, this thing fuckin' *vaporizes* the opponents. You thought that Metroid prime's plasma beam was gruesome? This thing shaves the flesh from the enemy in the blink of an eye & let's you see their now blackened skeleton burst into ashes! That is seriously cool. When it comes to best weapons in Splatterhouse, it's shotgun or bust. The best ranged weapon in the original that let's you cheese Biggy man & in the reboot, it is god damn *monstrously* enpowering for the short time that you have it. I think when they named one of the spots "Earthworm jim", they propably meant using him as a whip. If that was the case, then it is kinda fun to use. Makes short work of the final boss, you can use it to swing around & I just like whip weapons thanks to Castlevania. If you ask me, the Metal blades are as low as they are for a reason. Sometimes, a weapon can be *too* powerful in a video game. It gets boring to have such a dominant strategy in a game that is all about spicing up the usage of multible weapons. To me, the perfect weapon in a video game is one that doesn't outshine everything. Requiring strategy to use, but also being as fun as every other weapon in the game. While I love the pump from Dig dug, I actually think that it's kinda fighting against the Jackhammer from the 2nd game. The pump may be cool, but it's also the least satisfying to use. It's low score giving has me avoiding using it in favour of strategically dropping rocks on dudes for the higher score. The jackhammer is simply glorious. You feel so powerful when you're able to just sink big chunks of island with the power of that thing & like the rocks, it's the better way to get points. I'm actually surprised that the Spur from Cave story isn't here. That thing can be very fucking awesome in the right places. Makes Ballos a total bitch when you finally learn his tricks. Then out of shiere contrast to the rest of the game, using the gun of a Slig in the Oddworld games is bloody *entoxicating.* In a game that leaves your main character completely defenseless outside of rocks & the occasional bomb, getting chance to use even the simplest of weapons just feels 100 times cooler. It might be just a simple machine gun, but it's a helluva lot of fun to use. Then of course there's Raiden's sword from Metal gear Rising, but I'm guessing this list pre-dates that game, so there's not much they could've done with that.
what about the dragon's tooth energy sword from deus ex? I was going almost all no death with stun rod and tranq darts until I got that particular piece of awesome tech.
I'm fairly sure Ted's the guy in the black jacket near the back. Not sure, but I think Narymans the guy with the star and Lewis is holding a pokeball in the front, there. Back right? Who knows.
I saw the video demonstration of Mr Toots, and dear god it's funny as hell! He blast the guy with Mr Toots and some random guys says "He's not getting up from that" No shit!
you want to know what a real 'gunblade' would be? A gun... With a Bayonet on it. Holy shit, that is so fucking ingenious. I mean, They had those in the WWs
Blood Red Shooter but I agree: The Red Shells are rather useless, because they home DIRECTLY IN ON YOUR TARGET, meaning they will hit a wall if your target isn't right in front of you, and once they hit a wall, that's it. That's why I prefer Green Shells, because if you have enough of them, you can bounce them all over the place (provided you have walls), and someone is bound to get hit.
going by the logic of the pokeball and the portal gun not being weapons because what they do with the environment is what damages, then guns are not weapons, the bullets are..
Personally I think that Laptop Gun and SuperDragon are the best overall weapons in "Perfect Dark", and the best weapons in "GoldenEye 007" are probably the RC-P90 and the Gold PP7.
Red dead Undead was fucking awesome. It doesn't have to follow the logic of the main story because it isn't part of the main story it can follow it's own logic and do what ever it wants.
As I've said many times, I wasn't expecting to get on BSC. I just drew fanart of them because of how much I loved their videos and commentaries. Next thing I knew, I'm chatting with them. :D I play a lot of Pokemon games, Sonic games, games that are interesting to me and games that not a lot of people would like XD I'm only starting to do my own sort of lets plays since BSC have inspired me to try it out, but I'm only limited to emulators since I don't have a dazzle XP
Well played sir lol but with all seriousness though I wasn't going to comment anyway because nothing on the list inerested me but yea you're right that was my bad
8:53 Yup. Amanda cannot be a contract killer. That's the number one rule, right there: Never Get Too Close!
unless your The Spy from TF2.
I wouldn't blame you. You are the first girl to grace BSC. Personally, I wish it was me, but like Ted, I'm a freshman in college and have no life because of too much work. Good luck with them nonetheless and I hope to see the raws you contribute in the future! ^-^

Holy crap, you referenced Legendary Frog! Ted, you have achieved so many awesome points on this day.
i was waiting for this since i saw the list on ign
I hate to dwell on this, but since everyone else is, I'd just like to say that anyone who bashes SaSF for sounding like a fangirl needs to stop and think: If you were invited to hang out with the guys at BSC or anyone you consider a personal "hero," would you be able to stay composed? Ugh, everytime Johnny had to multi-task I couldn't help but swear up a storm and nearly shouting, "Shut your damn keyboard up!"
@AyleetheHedgehog I, for one, welcome you politely to this place and I hope we can see more videos with your insightly randomness in the future.
Yo Yos were originally weapons, and Legos were used to deter people from entering an area with intense pain if stepped on.
Only one of these popular toys had thier designs changed.
Homestuck? In my Brainscratch? It's more likely than you think.
Dude, Chuck Norris' Roundhouse Kick is where it's at.
Here's what I think
Front middle: Ryan
Front left - Louis
Front right - Johnny
Back left - Exand
Back right - I have no idea. Elliot, maybe?

Quite the innuendo huh?
Ryan plays bf3 + 9000 respect I bow to thee
No, Ryan, the buster sword isn't just a big hunk of metal, it's a big hunk of metal, ON A STICK!!!!!
Zero Ace right! how in the hell can anyone carry that shit?
johhny the turvy topside not only turns the world upside down
but every enemy nearby fall to thier death
I'm surprised you guys didn't know about the Unreal stuff! Back in the day, Unreal Tournament was the multiplayer FPS of choice. Look it up on TVTropes sometime - you'll learn a lot.
BTW, Johnny, the Farsight from Perfect Dark actually shoots through walls and instantly kills enemies in one hit but only as a secondary function.
The handle still makes it difficult to wield sword wise, though that's something Squall got use to I suppose. Other gunblades can be related to Monster Hunter's Gunlance, where the weight along with the blade end can be used rather effectively with the burst of the bullet. Best keyblade choices would be Oblivion, Metal Chaboco, Olympia and Ultima Weapon
I kinda like Amanda's singing voice. With a little practice she could be a good singer I think.
When Isaac has the Foam Finger, I'm thinking of him saying, "Spirit Gun!"
The Eclipse Cannon is a weapon powered by the Chaos Emeralds. That's pretty much the only way that they are weapons.
As a counter to Ted's "Portal gun is not a weapon" argument. A gun is not a weapon either by his logic, since a gun simply hits a bullet so it hits a target. A portal gun enables stuff to hit other stuff at high velocities.
The Laser Gun from Another World is pretty much the Evaporation Gun. Seriously, it evaporates people in one shot.
The Keyblade is a key. ITS A KEY!!! And it can slice through walls. Which makes it extremely BADASS
I'm actually willing to defend the gunblade's (particularly Squall's gunblade) position, sort of. In terms of a real gun, the design doesn't make sense, but as we've seen from both FF8 and Dissidia, the gunblade has explosion properties, which could sort of explain what the pistol chambers are used for. mr.toots how did i not expect this
@Tempest75 Number 6 is from DMC4
The main character's name from Splatterhouse is Rick Taylor.
Technically, it's more of an item. Yes, it can be obtained to caused damage, but that could be considered more of a transformation.
Nah, the Master Sword may not be the "best" weapon, but it's the most badass and iconic weapon to me.
Hell if you want to go by awsomeness. Pyramid heads great knife is always an option. even though it was tough to use.
I feel a bit disappointed the Z saber from the Megaman X and Zero series wasn't included in the list
The Vector Cannon shoots through dimensions... As an actually weapon you need to be really skilled and lucky to use it as something that kills enemies.
It's fun listening to this before Wrestlemania! The Rock is Back !!! Boots 2 Asses!
stupidest thing about blue shells in mario kart: if you use a blue shell you've been holding while in first place it blows you up even though you threw it!
@KaiKyuubiZ Does the term "Deus Ex Machina" fit the Chaos Emeralds better, I guess ?
I think what they mean with Earthworm jim is the fact that he uses the worm to whip shit.
to answer your question ted "it shoots shurikens and lightning" lol
the Pokeball releases a Pokemon, which can be used as weapons, Super/Hyper Sonic isn't a weapon, it's a powered up form of Sonic which is a CHARACTER.
From left to right; Exand, Solaris, Nayrman, Johnny and I think they said it was Elliot.
My top weapon- the T-1000. If you command it entirely, you can tell it to act as a suit neck-down, therefore being the ultimate melee. Robots don't count as characters.
The 'Keyblade' can manipulate, open.. and possibly destroy souls....
also she was in the Pokemon Black and White 2 impressions vid
nayrman in front, lewis is with the star, johnny with storm eagles decapitated head, exand with the pokeball, and last is elliot being elliot
And if SaSF is gonna ever come back, I hope she gets through the fangirl-itis soon. I find it adorable, but it might not sit well with others, the BSC crew included.
the MIRV is a luancher that luanches several mini nukes and VERY powerful
It wouldn't be long before you guys talk about this...and what's this? A female BSC member? Hello, Nurse!
The Dragon Sword of Ninja Gaiden should've been in there somewhere. It's like the Master Sword, but with a darker history, and almost being demonic in nature.
also, Earthworm Jim can pull his worm body out of the suit and whip people using himself.
Could you guys do IGN's top 100 modern games list?
Who else would prefer it if these were left exclusively for the main brainscratch members
the person from the begining that you said about the gun blade one form was a gun another form was a blade that was lightnng from ff XII
me too, especially in MMX6, it does so many hits on enemies...
"Why do you play a fighting game for the story?"
*Looks at Final Fantasy Dissidia*
*stares at Injustice*
No, you will be in a portal. but, torture, restrain with chains, shoot ceiling and floor beneath them, release chains.
Also, Manhunt's Deaths related with trash bags are pretty gruesome-looking.

AlluMan96 Best weapon ever, especially for snipers? Rail Gun (from Red Faction 2)
what about the dragon's tooth energy sword from deus ex? I was going almost all no death with stun rod and tranq darts until I got that particular piece of awesome tech.
2.tactical nuke 1.world destroying nuke
I'm fairly sure Ted's the guy in the black jacket near the back.
Not sure, but I think Narymans the guy with the star and Lewis is holding a pokeball in the front, there. Back right? Who knows.
She was in a previous Pokemon video they did.
I took one look at the guy and called him Destiny Hero: Dreadmaster.
BARE HANDS! BARE HANDS! That's the best weapon of them all...because it uses all other weapons on this list, and can even be their own weapon!
You just described the entirety of the internet just by saying that lol
I saw the video demonstration of Mr Toots, and dear god it's funny as hell! He blast the guy with Mr Toots and some random guys says "He's not getting up from that" No shit!
Anyone got a link to the article? Because I cannot find it for the life of me.
im glad they picked my favorite games main weapon :D
Gordon Freeman's Crowbar deserves to be up higher.
Still it would've been amazing to be on there.
#43 the wii version: _Screen Nuke: The Gun_
you want to know what a real 'gunblade' would be? A gun... With a Bayonet on it. Holy shit, that is so fucking ingenious. I mean, They had those in the WWs
I'm sorry, why is "Captain Falcon's Fist" not number one? That's the most powerful weapon in existence.
I think ur funny! but answer this r u n BSC or r u a guest bcuz u appear n sevral impression vids so far?
IGN made a weapons list with the Red shells from Mario Kart but not the SPINY BLUE SHELLS!! the fuck!
Blood Red Shooter ...because Blue Shells need to die.
Blood Red Shooter but I agree: The Red Shells are rather useless, because they home DIRECTLY IN ON YOUR TARGET, meaning they will hit a wall if your target isn't right in front of you, and once they hit a wall, that's it.
That's why I prefer Green Shells, because if you have enough of them, you can bounce them all over the place (provided you have walls), and someone is bound to get hit.
well the pistol in guake 4 makes perfect sense because it shoots lazer
Hey Johny, in the pic for the vid, what r u holding?
You guys should finish all your random videos by singing the Kid Icarus theme. It's great.
originally Sora was to have a chainsaw blade but disney said no to the idea. also Sora was supposed to be a half lion half human
going by the logic of the pokeball and the portal gun not being weapons because what they do with the environment is what damages, then guns are not weapons, the bullets are..
i chased my friend with a rc-xd when he ran out of ammo i lol'ed so hard
"laptop gun"
all I think of is the amped Smart pistol from titanfall which has this quote: "so... it does calculus now?" xD
Personally I think that Laptop Gun and SuperDragon are the best overall weapons in "Perfect Dark", and the best weapons in "GoldenEye 007" are probably the RC-P90 and the Gold PP7.
@Tempest75 They mentioned the Pandora's box from DMC4 -__-
Red dead Undead was fucking awesome.
I play a lot of Pokemon games, Sonic games, games that are interesting to me and games that not a lot of people would like XD I'm only starting to do my own sort of lets plays since BSC have inspired me to try it out, but I'm only limited to emulators since I don't have a dazzle XP
Where is my RYNOCIRATOR! Come on IGN
I would like to see SonicandShadowFan in one of your let's play here
I have played Tales of Symphonia, and while I have heard of the others, I sadly don't have those games. But yes, I am familiar with them.
Until someone actually got you with a fully powered one...
Well played sir lol but with all seriousness though I wasn't going to comment anyway because nothing on the list inerested me but yea you're right that was my bad
the wbbajack is a staff that does wired shit when used on people
the one with the pokeball is exandshadow.
Although she could be little less "spazy", I kinda like her.
iunno, i think she adds a little bit of youthful energy to the group.
Everyone knows the best weapon ever is Vincent Brook's pillow in Catherine xD
I always thought the Gunblade fires magic stuff.
