A big thank you to the Hockey Hall of Fame for having us!
And a thank you to Rams Live/ Ryerson Athletics for providing us with the Rams highlight video.
Well...I guess I’ll go open Premiere again 😂
Edit: you guys all rule btw, thanks for all the support!
This seems like a theme
Maybe challenge us next time. 10k is a walk in the park lol
What's up
Great work Z!

The Final Boss Question boutta be like: “Oh, you like hockey? Name every HOFer.”
Or, the person that can name the most HOF people wins......though that could make for a fairly long final boss segment. Still a good idea.
@@jfkinlloyd It would’ve taken way too long lol. Most of them probably know hundreds. That’s what I was thinking but it would’ve been too chaotic for no reason.

I actually really like the no-strike system because seeing Sam confidently pulling out the Warhol knowledge for question 9 was so surprising but so entertaining
As a red wings fanThe way they answered the final boss was insulting
I feel the pain as well
I got it and I’m a hawks fan so
Honestly it was probably the easiest question of the quiz
I'm a Sharks fan and I was insulted.
I'm younger so im excused. They're not.
"Laine... Risky pick." "He ain't going nowhere." That didn't age well.
"he ain't going nowhere"

Lmaooo
FINALLLYYYYYYYYY. THE LONG AWAITED RETURN HAS ENDED!!!
I am floored that Corwin knew the intelevision answer so confidently.... was he even alive when that came out????
Hahah, he definitely knew I enjoy video game questions, so he likely spent a lot of time in that exhibit at the hall!
Knew intelivision but not the Russian Five lmao
They're obviously fed answers. This and the Rod Gilbert answer.
@@robmcleod1843 I dont think so, because even I knew the one about Rod Gilbert. Im born 2004 btw :)
Its called "history. Did you know everybody can learn it whether you're 9 or 90?
As a Russian it is so delightful for me to see "The Russian five" as the last question!
A very easy question, by the way, though))
I found it easy as well.
They really influenced puck possession in NHL hockey.
boo Russia. Boo.
I just got done writing an entire section of my master thesis on them and my eyes lit up reading that final boss question
I need a sound bite of Jesse's "NOPE" in the bonus round, that echo was perfect
I can't believe nobody got that final boss. Seemed easier than some of the other questions. I guess it's a generation gap thing. Awesome quiz btw!
That shocked me too. Anyone who didn't get that one needs to watch some Vlad Konstantinov tributes and the retellings of their late-90s playoff rivalry with Colorado.
As a Red Wings fan I was like 'Oh dang this is a tap in'. One of the only questions I got right though.....
@@craiglodzinski same lmao
I wasn't even alive until after Ray Bourque had retired and even I got more than one of those right.
I'm glad I'm not the only to find this not only the easiest Final Boss ever but much easier than the other Quiz questions.
As a Wings fan, that last question was easy!
Yea I thought the last question was pretty easy
That's how you know you are an old-school Wings fan.
When I read the question, I was like : wait...that's it ?
In my opinion this was an easy question regardless of who you cheered for.
You don't need to be a wing fan to know that one.
Yeah I don't get how none of them knew who the Russian 5 were. I thought Corwin had it when he said Larionov then he crapped the bed.
There are actually 2 answers to the 9th question.
Yes he painted Rod Gilbert in '77
BUT in 86 he also did another Hockey related painting. This time depicting the Swedish player Christer Kellgren and Kellgren played 5 games for the Colorado Rockies in the 81/82 season.
Hella interesting, thank you for learning me something today!
As a 39 year old Red Wings fan, that was the easiest Final Boss ever (for me).
Literally the first time I've ever known something in one of these quizzes that stumped every participant.
You're all awesome, keep up the good work!
0:47 I'll take "This Didn't Age Well" for $200
😂😂
Okay the question is Who was the Team that got him?
@@thebandit0256Irrelevant in this case because the topic was Laine staying in Winnipeg
Actually kinda surprised that the Final Boss stumped them, I mean Fetistov would have been hard but not getting Kozlov or Larionov?
@Skippy the Alien Konstantinov, not really... I mean the 1998' Stanley Cup was dedicated to him after his terrible accident. The image of him "carrying" the Cup in his wheelchair is a pretty famous one
@Skippy the Alien I'm with you that Fetistov is a legend, but I have a feeling the Bardown crew would have absolutely forgotten him
Not even Konstantinov? That whole 98 Cup run was for him!
Even I got Konstantinov right away!
Especially luca
I’ve missed these quizzes!! 😭
Ideas for future quizzes:
- NHL / player pets
- players who have been on three or more teams (which teams? how long with each team? etc)
- famous player quotes
- stats from different countries and the players who made those records (ex Germany and Draisaitl, Jagr, etc)
Keep up the amazing work!!
Additional ideas:
- D3: The Mighty Ducks
- The WHA
- NHL Draft History
- All-Star Game History
I second the All Star Game history! NHL players + pets is a very interesting idea also!
“He won’t goin nowhere”. LOL
Jesse Pollock - “Patty Laine is NOT getting traded”
Winnipeg Jets - “Hold my beer”

Detroit salutes you, thanks for the two cups!
A quiz Idea could be the history of the bardown quiz. with questions such as "How long did jesse's drought last" or "who was the first female to win a quiz?"
First here to "officially" mock Jesse for his jersey.

The only question I got right was the Final Boss. Thank you, Russian Five documentary.
I’m gonna have to check out that doc 👀
It was a bit shocking to me none of them knew the names of the russian five. But then I remembered I was a teenager during the prime years of the russian five and loved the playoff rivalry of the wings and avalanche. Pretty much nobody in this quiz was born back then. Makes me feel so old :p
THEY'RE BACK
@7:02 I've never had so quick of a nostalgia rush from remembering that song was on ATV Off-road Fury 3's soundtrack.
Lol that’s legit where I heard that song for the first time, too. Stuck with me ever since!

I’m shocked that Jesse didn’t shatter all of the glass with his screams
Jesse on Laine : he's not going anywhere!!!!
Laine : LET'S GO!!!... TO COLUMBUS!!! 🤣🤣🤣
And he already got benched
I was hoping DZ would have cut to a clip from the goalie mask quiz, where almost everyone failed to recognize Richter’s helmet.
Damn, that’s a great call :-s
I love the hockey hall of fame. Been to Toronto once in my life summer 2019 and it was the best!
I always do the quiz alongside them to see how I'd do. Started 4 for 4, didn't get another right then somehow knew the entire Final Boss 🤷🤷
Four for four to begin is pretty dope, though! You would’ve had the lead 👀

As a diehard Wings fan, that was an EASY final boss. Konstantinov, Fetisov, Kozlov, and Larionov.

How did Luca not get it?
When Emilie pulled the bonus round question correctly, I literally dropped a "holy (bleep)" in my office. Thankfully the door was shut. Wow....amazing job, Em!
Man, the absolute disrespect of not knowing any members of the Russian Five besides Fedorov. SMDH
Really appreciated this y'all. Thanks from an American dealing with election chaos
Happy you enjoyed it 😄 thanks for watching!!
And he gets traded you cursed it jeese
I was surprised they all failed the Kariya question. Guess that’s what happens when you quiz a bunch of Canadians on Hockey East :)
Imagine during the middle of the quiz Z got a notification that Laine got traded
7:00 Love the little clip of Acceptance - Permanent
As a Wings fan, I'm insulted by the fact that none of them could have guessed any of the Russian 5 besides Larionov
fun fact : there’s a small isle off the south coast of England called the Isle Of Wight, who unfortunately lost their rink & hockey team in 2016, however in the early 2000’s one of their jerseys (wightlink raiders) was donated to the hockey hall of fame, after winning every title possible that season :)
Well you know this quiz is gonna be a weird one when Luca and Corwin woulda flunked on question 1 normally XD.
(But seriously, they had a chance to look through the whole hall and neglected to take in the details of the Conn Smythe trophy?)

Jesse in the start got me dying 😂
That was the easiest final boss literally ever, Federov, Larianov, Kozlov, Konstanitnov, Fetisov.
Especially for wings fans. They are a huge part of the rising european influence in the nhl game at that time. They are one reason detroit won the cup in 97 and vladys accident motivated them in 98 to win it again

I'm not sure how many people frequently comment this, but I would LOVE to be on one of these quizzes someday. I've always been obsessed with hockey, and I did decent on this quiz (got Q1 about the Conn Smythe, Q2 about Richter's mask, Q3 about #5 on the rings, Q5 about Paul Kariya winning the Hobey Baker, and the bonus question about 1917-18's four teams; Q8 I got Angela James but not the jersey, and final question I named 4/5 players, missed Fetisov by naming Makarov).
I've already been accepted to attend the same school that both Luca and Christian Marin attended, so I feel like I'm on the right path! Hopefully I can be in a BarDown quiz by 2023!
Then laine gets traded haha
I literally spent all morning looking for you me most recent quiz and just assumed you stopped making them. I love the irony that today was the day you posted one
That was kinda of a weak final boss... I knew them all instantly. Fedorov, Fetisov, Larionov, Kozlov, and Konstantinov.
Edit: that's probably because I'm a wings fan now that I think of it...
I’m a Wings fan too, but I don’t think it should just be Red Wings knowledge though. They were a historic line with 3 hall of famers, a hypothetical 4th, and a really good player.
So is Luca...
loool laine "aint goin no where"
If Marissa appears in a new quiz, I will drop a like on that and turn on notifications for TSN!

My favorite thing about Corwin is how humble he is.
