Lebo leigh Leigh I would say he’s a guy who like everyone can kill and he needed the money. As a hit man you have the best opportunity to never be caught. you show up kill them make sure there’s no connection to you physically and keep the customer quiet about what they’re buying you would most likely get away. Police if they don’t have any evidence go for people who have a reason to hurt the victim a person who never met him is not one of the people with reason to kill him.

I fed Woody a number of times before he became famous working in Lebanon, Ohio's downtown 24 hour restaurant. The place was VERY popular with the bar crowds after closing time, which is when he'd come in on occasion. I didn't know him personally, just by face. I didn't know his name until recognizing him after he started on Cheers. I then later worked for a carpet cleaning company in Lebanon and cleaned the carpet at his mother's house. I literally was cleaning the hall carpet where she had pictures of her family on the wall and saw Woody's high school pics and realized the customers name was Diane Harrelson. She was a very nice lady and we talked a bit about Woody and how she was proud of him.

I met Woody in Ohio during a visit in Lebanon a few times over 50 years ago. He was mature for his age. He mostly talked about Lebanon Ohio and how one person practically owned the town. This young man was probably much more intelligent than some adults I knew. He never mentioned his father. I never forgot over the years how Woody was one of the smartest kids I ever met. I never watched cheers or make the connection. When he got busted in the same county where my parents were from, in Lee Co Ky, and after I read their local paper, finally I made the connection between the actor and the smart and likable kid I met in Ohio.

Do you remember who it was that Woody said "owned" Lebanon? The Milbern side of my family lived in Lebanon at that time, and my aunts and uncles knew of Woody. Well, I think my cousin Doug knew him. Doug appears for a couple of seconds in the background of a scene in "Harper Valley PTA".

@@ashcarrier6606 I can’t remember the name of the owner but his name was attached to so many businesses and properties in Lebanon. My grandfather did too in the same county (Lee) where Woody got busted. My grandfather sold much of it during WW2 because he was an officer of both WW’s. Lebanon Ohio seemed more hillbilly than Eastern Ky. I haven’t been to Lebanon since 1971 when my family moved out of Dayton Ohio and to Central Illinois. My uncle lived in Lebanon because his wife had family there and they were hard core hillbillies, the type that would butcher a hog in their kitchen.

Woody Harrelson used to baby sit me as a baby. He was part of the "redwood spring", a group of people who helped protect the redwood forest from loggers in '97-'98 (look up Julia Butterfly Hill or David "Gypsy" Chain). My mom, dad, and uncle were all part of this movement. After I was born in '98 he would help take care of me while my mom went out and protected the trees. I really hope I get to meet him as an adult and remind him who I am.

I have some weirdness to add to this story. About 10 years ago, I worked at a sizable family owned manufacturing business in Texas. The 4 owners were 1 older sister and 3 younger brothers, the youngest was in his 40’s.The sister G, was a very prim and proper conservative southern lady in her 50’s or early 60’s.
One day, after working here for 3-4 years my coworker mentioned that Woody Harrelson might be stopping by this week. What? Woody Harrelson? Why would he be stopping here? I asked. Well, his dad died and he is picking up or dropping off some effects or legal paperwork for G.
I looked at her like she was growing an arm out of her head. What does G have to do with Woody Harrelson’s dad? I asked. You don’t know? Everyone knows, but no one mentions it. Well no one mentioned it to me in 4 years I told her.
She told me an abbreviated history of the elder Harrelson which I had read about once but didn’t give it much thought at the time. She then told me that G had prison-married Harrelson at some point. Whaaaaaat?
Yes, somehow, this proper church-going southern woman had been prison married to a professional contract hitman, one Mr. Harrelson. There was of course, no way to ask more about this most interesting story so the details of which, I shall never know about.
