I so do not have the mental fortitude for this. I swear it. It's like the director saw how powerful Copen was becoming and so they made GV go full god mode. This is nuts.
Definitely take this with a grain of salt but some people are claiming that the director heard about how people were comparing and claiming that Copen was stronger than GV, and apparently it made him so mad that he wrote GV to be this. If this is true and had he not done that we probably could’ve had a normal playable GV ☠️
It's mentioned that Gunvolt has one of if not the most powerful Septima in the Gunvolt universe. When we play as him, we're only getting a sample of that power. What we're seeing here is likely the full extent of what his Septima can do, without needing to stop to recharge.
@@joragon317 It's not just people claiming it, he outright said it on one of the prerelease interviews for a japanese gaming magazine (don't remember if it was on Gamer magazine or Dengeki, but it was one of those).

@@AzureMoebius22 granted GV3 shows off GV’s power a lot better than the other games in gameplay - Anthem GV actually feels like a powerup, and his suplex move is hilariously cheesy
And here I thought that Blade EX was the hardest boss in the Gunvolt franchise. This one actually forces you to teleport constantly with Kirin's Septima to avoid attacks that you cannot otherwise avoid, and Octis Veto is a wickedly broken attack that almost covers the whole screen.
I'm imaging a DLC Boss harder than this. Since if I'm not mistaken blade was one as well.
@@solflixvurn1382 Yeah, I remember downloading the extra bosses for both Luminous Avenger games, and Blade was an extra addition in iX1 for an ultimate challenge, and there's an extra downloadable song Lola can sing, Raison D'ētre. iX2 in comparison has a big DLC roster: Kohaku Ootori, Yang Yumo, Jason Frudnick, Kurona, and even Kirin herself appearing several months in advance of her Gunvolt 3 debut. You get some nifty rewards for beating them. I personally enjoy that Kurona gives you the ability to make Lola assume her Darkness Trigger form at 1000 Kudos (it's merely a cosmetic effect; you don't get the drawback of HP loss but no weapon powerups, either) and she sings Beyond Probability.
The worst part is that on harder difficulties, you’re forced to attack mobius with just your Talisman, trying to reduce his health to 0 will only bring it back to full.
That is, if you don't decide to just outright obliterate gv with copen
Unlike Blade EX, this actually requires strictly precision, Blade EX theres a bit of workaround and she doesnt have any actual specials aside from making herself stronger (first use) and healing (used anytime she’s nearly dying), which all its needed was using your own special as a execution.
This one, takes more than that and you can see you have to constantly deal with GV’s health bar many times after knocking him down and draining actual health from him.
Absolutely hardest GV boss to date so far.

As expected from Benja, such an impressive skill. I play on demanding still get wrecked a couple of time with passive and everything before sealing GV for good.

You never really think how powerful Prevasion is as a skill until you have to fight it.
Super impressive! Watched this live on twitch! I'm at the point where I must conquer this fight on Merciless. I have every image pulse except for the one you get for beating this one. I'm slowly getting better at evading his attacks, but definitely using this video as reference. It looks easy to dodge his attacks, but actually executing it is something else.
Yeah, I’m down on this part too and still cant manage to dodge GV’s Octis Veto, which is EXTREMELY hard to get by without being damaged on merciless.

Man you merit a like and a comment just for that mashing skill but heck the run was amazing too having beaten him on merciless for the first time a couple day ago i know how hard some of those are to dodge and i can just say wow seeing that lvl of skill.
IX2 hard mode looks EZ when compared to this.
IX2's hard mode wouldn't be such a pain in the ass if it didnt include a life system.
Finally I can beat him in merciless. thank to your video that make me understand how to dodge his move.
If u use the djinn special passive skill and level it up to level 3, there's no need to try and dodge gunvolt's ultimate move. That passive skill will give u enough time to be invincible for most of the entire boss battle to defeat him. I had found that much easier to beat him then trying to literally float in the air around for 10 whole seconds trying to avoid his lighting.
I believe merciless does not let you use passive skills, only active skills I believe

I finally beaten this boss on merciless mode. Needless to say, absolutely hardest. You made this boss look like a joke with having to remove all image pulses. No way in hell I’m built like that lol.

I'm watching your videos now and challenging GV. All I can say is that this BOSS is really crazy.

Revisited the game recently and decided to attempt this challenge. Took me a few days but I got it. Rewatching this video afterwards weirded me out as your movements are so awkward at times, like in the way you dodge certain attacks. Your mashing skill is insane though.

Still wonder how Moebius's health recovery actually works.
I have two questions, one how are you firing the talisman so fast and two how are you continually able to make things slow down?
1.- Is just mashing (check my LAiX2 VOD)
2.- Spamming the AC can lag the game a little bit and create the slow down

Dumb question but how you control where she warps using AC again? Was it LB + A for left side and RB + A for right? It confuses me a bit and it’s killing my practice merciless runs.
Is just the input, when i want to warp with AC I need to press left - right
@@BenjaS4 but how do you keep her In one spot during octis veto then immediately switch to the right side when you needed to move? When I’m facing against merciless BB I can’t seem to get behind him during his desperation attack, I always wind up warping infront of his bike
@@joragon317 (assuming that you are facing right) Hold right while using Arc Chain to warp behind the enemy, hold left/no direction to warp in front of the enemy.
While facing left, swap the directions, kinda like a fighting game

I tried doing this in Demanding mode and while that mode is harder than normal I noticed I'd get all the Fetters I'd placed on Moebius randomly taken off and have to restart essentially with his health full again... does that happen in Merciless as well?
Yes
its not random. He'll take them off after the first bar is done and do his first Octius Veto and remove them. After that, they'll stay on. Just like how it is in this video.
@@haydenz0 Oh, in hard mode it kept taking em off. Not sure if its a bug but...
@@RetroNerdyGamer if you recharged your fetters while he was out then that would do it since recharging removes all fetters on enemies
You have to go with only fetters on Demanding, you can't attack the dragon physically at all or it will just regain its health.
So that's how the heck you dodge octis veto...
I am glad this game has a boss that is impossibly difficult. The main game is a cakewalk with how overpowered GV is against bosses. Finally get to know how it feels to be on the other end.

Not really, any IP is just to play more safe - agressive
Lmao 😂🤣 he did the same thing i did on it was a pain to spam the bullets fast enough to stay next to him and become invincible it also causes lag
I added a jump into it to make it 50% fasterit gives way better eye frames but i can't fir my fucking Life get that result on mercy less

@@BenjaS4 I'll try again but every time I do one I zip into another direction. I don't stay in place like that.
@@AzumangaFan13 if you want to keep your position, do the AC while you press down in your stick/d-pad and if you want to switch your position you need to press forward of your target position
I plan to play Gunvolt aeries again at some point and i xan tell ill have a hard time against this boss lol~ i already had a hard time on the first game and now its even harder huh~

Why the actual fuk is this battle so danmmm hard?... Is not even fun, is beyond frustrating.
Even dark souls and sekiro together are easy games compared to this THING.
I think im going to stop playing into creates games. This crap is like danmaku levels of hard while being tethered by gravity.
