Faces of Manufacturing: Kevin Koontz, DVF Corporation

MD MEP’s Faces of Manufacturing Series is about telling the STORY of the men and women who work within the manufacturing companies that are proud to call Maryland home.
In this episode, we share the story of Kevin Koontz, a self-proclaimed “country boy” and mechanical prodigy. Kevin shares his story of how he fell in love with manufacturing from the first day he visited his high school’s technical education program. Today, Kevin works at DVF Corporation, a contract engineering and manufacturing company in Hagerstown, MD where he designs and manufactures highly complex and technical parts. Kevin is working as a Registered Apprentice and hopes to earn his Journeyman’s certification and continue his career in manufacturing.
