Helping people to name things properly is something of a service. Doing it in the way of the fool, while maintaining Christlike humility (contra Judas's false humility), could prove to be a way to help those around you to heal.
The mystical stops happening when an outside observer is present is entirely consistent with my light-person training about the light wave/particle duality. John screwed up mini-football-field dude's double slit experiment by watching it. Fascinating.
Tell more! So the observer changes reality by observing? This is also a type of principle in string theory yes? And the new physics?
The long and the short of it is that results change depending on whether an experiment is observed or not. Check out videos on the double split experiment, I'm sure there are hundreds addressing it. Light acts like both a particle and a wave depending on how it is observed.

John, it’s your favorite Catholic Jacob. Throwing this in here since it’s the most recent episode; in relation to your episodes on war you should follow up again with the topic by interviewing Marc Barnes from new polity magazine. He’s a very charitable guy and I think you would like him, not only that but he will make a defense of just war showing the other side compared to the Melkite Father you had on. I think a correct interpretation of just war is not that different from what the orthodox are saying, I don’t think Bishop Barron is the last word on the topic.
