There is so much cross over occurring now. Cody is learning about the smallhats using Revelations as a guide and now, the electric sun and approaching cataclysm as the sun is about to trigger another end of the age. Yes the sun used to be yellow, now white. Prior in the past our original sun was saturn. And it went black as all the galactic circuit current went through Sol instead.
The light indeed does look different in our adult years versus our childhood, but it has an explanation. I don’t know the exact science behind it, but children see more yellow in light making everything appear more saturated.

I bought a MRCOOL 12000 btu 4th gen last fall and installed it myself. It was easy to do for people who have a little skill at being a jack of all trades. It heats and cools a room very well and best of all it runs off a 20 amp 115v breaker. You will love it.
I don't care what those east coast guys say about you, give props to David and doing this was a class act. I hope he gets so busy building stuff, he needs to hire a team!

I have a garage shop in Texas. The walls are not insulated. I’m considering purchasing a mini split but foregoing the insulation and see how it keeps up with the climate. What type of conditions is your mini split working in? Thanks
@@jprz3837 in my garage back in Texas before we moved, we had I believe a 12K BTU model, Mitsubishi and top of the line. Insulated walls, garage door, and roof, and it just did manage to keep it 74 in the summer. I would recommend insulation if at all possible.

I’m a young man (only 20) but me and my wife intend to homestead and build a home and family of our own. A vane-type chimney cap is always recommended, especially wherever wind is an occasional issue. But for your camp-tent stove -- the basic is just right. I am 73, and haven't noticed a change in the light, and I tend to take note of the natural world around me, but at this point I'm enjoying the light as it is.
In my 53rd year of life....always been sensitive to sunlight. That said, I relate to your observation and feel it's more of a scenario of aging and not the environment.
Ever tried a minitruck on the land? I use a Diahatsu Hijet Climber on my property. I gave it a lift, ATV tires, and beadlock wheels and load leveling air shocks in the rear. It has a dump, heater, enclosed cab, locking (and unlocking) rear diff, and hi-lo transfer case with 4wd. It never gets stuck and I've moved over 1000lbs in the bed before ( a bit too much).
1. older aged eyes. 2. More sugar in blood = heat is handled differently. 3. not going in the sun frequently will cause you to think the sun is hottter, a little sunburn keeps you cooler for months.
@@ishaq9939 sun doesn't have to change, air quality and atmospheric conditions do. The same reason light from a naked light bulb is different from the light from the same lightbulb with a lampshade around it. Diffusion or lack there of can change light intensity fairly easily.

You aren’t tripping about the light feeling more intense, I used to play outside all day as a kid during the summer, now without a pair of shades my eyes cannot stop from tearing up constantly.
I know you have a million projects and its hard to get around to everything, but one suggestion I might make is a sauna next to the river camp. Look up Nordnes Sjøbad in Bergen, Norway. They have saunas and a heated sea water pool set on the freezing cold fjord, so you can go back and fourth between cold plunge and extreme heat. Its a very good experience that I think you could replicate at your river.

The pioneer 1000 is an amazing rig. My dad has one and can take it on the same trails rzrs do and can use it around the yard in "turf mode" and not damage the grass. Honda reliability + non-cvt drivetrain is really the bread and butter

Looks like a solid, well made stove. I have a cabin where a wood stove is the only source of heat and cooking (Home Comfort, circa 1920), so I know the importance of a well made stove. I didn’t see a spark arrestor screen in the cap? I know in bone dry Colorado, it’s an absolute requirement to prevent potential disasters.
I have a mr cool and i will advise you on 2 things: 1 keep an eye on your humidity levels in your house you may need a dehumidifier and 2 keep an eye on the inside turbine for mold growth
Hey Mr w, just a little tip from a humble east coast blue collar boy, for sheet metal screw work the m12 impact is a bit better imo, it has a setting right after the 3rd speed setting specifically for those screws where it spins the screw very fast to start the self tapping drill feature of the screws then once resistance is felt it slows down and even stops itself to prevent over torque on the screws and the heads snapping off, I really enjoy using it when in doing galvy smoke pipe. Sheet metal is not an enjoyable task as work.
even 2500 is crazy for me. Here (central Europe) you can buy a AC unit for around 600-2000 (depending on the AC itself) and 90% of the time the install is included in the price. Big box stores buy truckloads of AC units and they have their own local subcontractors that install them.
I’m on my 4th Mr cool diy mini split. Love them. Only con… if you are off grid and running off batteries, the fan is a constant draw and will bring down your batterieseven when the compressor shuts off

About the sun light: I was thinking the same exact thing, im 33 years old, i spoke with my girlfriends father and he told me the same exact thing you said in this video : "the sun used to be different when we were younger, we could stay 7-8 hours on the beach and we did not get a sun burn like you two did" My assumption: The ozone layer got thinner and no one is telling us. I’m still quite young (26) and would agree the light has gotten much more harsh. I remember being young without a worry now I have to constantly have some form of shade. Also used to sell side by sides (haven’t for a few years now) and cannot recommend anything more than a kawasaki mule! They stand behind them as well with a factory 3 year warranty
That's a great little stove, it's a nice upgrade. I don't know if you mentioned what stove you'll be putting in the log cabin, but Hearthstone introduced a new small model, the Lincoln, about a year ago. I bought one recently from my local retailer here in Clark County. I'll be installing it soon and am very much looking forward to trying it this fall. Cheers.
