    Nothing wrong with this video Juliet as it is short, sweet, informative and very amiable too.
    Strongly disagree with some of the comments I've read since it is all pretty regular and transparent.
    Some criticism is just speculative and devoid of any substance.
    The piece of equipment itself is valid, pricey but worth the money I suspect.
    😊👋

    That thumb screw and quick connect are definitely nicer than other action camera offerings.

    Looks good be interested to see how it compares to go pro and see some Forrest single track in low light. Anyway glad you are getting something I imagine making a living from cycling is not that easy.

    Moin moin! Did you try the timelapse/hyperlapse modes? How is the battery life there? Cheers

    Hi Juliet, love your videos! How expensive is it to get the lens changed if it scratches or breaks? And do you think it's a concern, that you can't change the lens yourself?

    • @JulietElliottsChannel

      Thank you! Insta360 will replace it for free within the first year. After that, I don’t know what you’d do! Agree it would be better if you could change yourself

    Looks great I am curious why get this over the insta 360 x3 ?

    • @Spitfire67UK

      Yeah I have the X2 and would never go back to non 360. Shoot now reframe later

    • @JulietElliottsChannel

      They're pretty different! For me, one HUGE reason is I want my shots to come out the way I've frame them; I know what I want to shoot and how I want it to appear and don't want to add an extra stage to shooting my videos. Reframing is fine and fun for short bits and reels and stuff with the X3 but it's not something I'd like to use to make a vlog

      @@JulietElliottsChannel I use mine for kayaking. Plonk it on my helmet, kayak or selfie stick. It's great for group stuff. We did a bridge challenge once and the 360 was able to capture everybody's attempts even though they all did it at the same time. Obviously it wasn't as good as setting up a shot with good angles etc. And the quality of a 360 isn't as good. But as a catch all get on and do your thing camera it's great. Maybe they will offer you a test of their new camera that launches next week.

      Does this camera have ANT+ capabilities to overlay data from,say, a Garmin cycling computer? (Speed, power, heart rate, grade, elevation, etc???). I just saw yo say I did but does the overlay happen automatically or is there work to be done post filming???

    • @Spitfire67UK

      I’ve only used the built in gps data which is very good and easy. She did say the garment stuff which adds more data was very easy to do and she didn’t read the instructions. So like most things insta it will be simple to do

    Looks really good - a decent alternative to GoPro. I’ve been holding off replacing my Hero 7 after reading and seeing so many bad things about the Hero 12, and I was never quite convinced by the DJI. The only thing that concerns me is the magnetic mount. I use my GoPro on my motorbike helmet as well - is the mount strong enough for that kind of thing as well?

    • @JulietElliottsChannel

      I was worried about that too but it’s not failed me. It’s very solid

    • @alienaudaxer9827

      The 12 is solid, I've been using it for months. It is a huge improvement to the 7 (which I have used for years!) but only minor jumps from the 11.

    Thank you for this video. I’ve been looking into getting an action camera, but all videos i see, non are cyclist. I dont want to do a ton of editing afterwards, just want to record and post, and without that weird distortion. 👍🏾👍🏾

    Does image affect in High stabilization

    "Best Cycling Camera" needs some qualifications. While cameras like this and a GoPro do take compelling action footage, they are an entirely different category to cycling cameras like Cycliq that offer up to 7hrs per charge, and are paired with lights. I have both and they satisfy different use cases.

  • @17cream

    I think there is some nice tech here, good stabilisation, magnetic mount and good low light capabilities. However I see the footage is very over sharpened and I really miss 10bit colour and D log.

    • @JulietElliottsChannel

      Both. My Wireless mics that I usually use are in Spain due to a mix up when I was out there

    Lot of useful stuff on this channel but more content seems to be drifting to advertising / shilling which is a shame, loses a bit of credibility and come across a bit less genuine.

    • @JulietElliottsChannel

      Hardly! Also, this is my job, something I’ve worked very hard at for quite a number of years. Earning money for something that takes a lot of time and specialist knowledge is entirely acceptable. I don’t really understand why some people have the opinion that people doing this job should work for for free. Or why making money makes a channel any less credible.

      I’m not upset and I understand the way we pay for food thanks. What I find disappointing is the “adverts” are usually contained in the normal videos which are full of fun and action, that’s all 👍😎🚴

    • @JulietElliottsChannel

      Everything I do is above board and genuine. And it takes a lot of time, energy, effort and skill. It’s a job. I really don’t understand why people object to anyone doing this and getting paid.

    • @lanzaroterider365

      I understand that, and I don't object to you making a living, why would I?
      I have enjoyed your work for a long time and it has been very entertaining indeed, and I'm grateful for your time and effort in making these videos.
      My point is, these product reviews are normally contained in a video which is not just an advert, but a video with content that you usually make, with a brief pause to tell us about a product, your opinion of it, and wether you recommend it, then return to the action. That is all I'm trying to say.
      I'm sorry if I came across abruptly and I look forward to seeing more of your usual adventures on 2 wheels.
