I was heading to Newark and Train stopped at Elizabeth Station from that storm for a hockey event in Newark because of high winds. All amtrak trains were cancelled. NJT kept on moving. Lost power for 2min not bad at Linden station. NJT conductor said on the PA "Amtrak is not having a good day." Very great shots in the snow.

Good Stuff! I use to work 10 minutes away, and would eat lunch at the station. If I got there 11:20, I'd see about 8 trains, four of them hispeed blowby's!. Never did it in the snow, however...
good job kyle that last storm missed us too by about 50 miles or so ok by me did they shut down any part of the corridor during this storm i.d guess and say service into NYC. but i. could be wrong . let me know how much snow you got in NJ. be safe everybody / dave/ NS. CA.

But for most of them, service has been curtailed and/or totally suspended during the worst of the storms. One of the storms forced power outages near me, and some Amtrak trains had diesels in the lead -- unfortunately, I got trackside too late to catch them and missed out. But all in all, the corridor took a heavy beating this winter. Thanks again for stopping by, and be well!

I could be wrong, but I think NJ Transit has some advertising on their trains currently. But if they do, it's definitely not on any sort of sizable scale that'd generate a massive amount of money.
