Funny you should say that Chuck because since I found it I have yet to find another example like it despite many attempts at trying. Hopefully one day I’ll find out and when I do I’ll stick it on @behindthefinds 👍👍
One of my absolute favorite channels. It's the Forager program and user skills.👍🏻I only use your program and people are seeing my finds wanting to know what program. Congratulations on those Roman's. Thanks for sharing. *Chris*
Thanks for your support Chris, it’s very much appreciated. I am very happy the program is working for you. I am releasing a deep program next week so keep an eye out for that one too buddy. ATB my friend 👍👍
Having g been rolled will make a huge difference, especially if you had some rain to bed it all down as it squashes all the air out off the soil and brings the field to life .
Thing is Greg, it had been rolled the week before he just went over it again for some reason. Totally agree though, it must have done the trick because that was probs one of my best days ever around these parts 👍👍
Michael, what a wonderful day of finds. Finding iron is how I discover my old sites. Being California doesn’t have allot prior to 1848 I still track down old home sites and Pony Express sites along with stagecoach stops. You got some great finds the hammered coin and the fibula as well as the Roman coins. Exciting stuff… John
Thanks bionic John 😉 it was a day I won’t forget in a while. Definitely hear you on the iron patches, I am so glad I decided to go back over this one that’s for sure. ATB 👍👍
You are added to one of my favorites. I just saw that Roman Found has a new video, too. I also enjoy them and lots of other metal detectors, mudlarking & magnet fishing videos. The sound of the birds is wonderful.
Bloody he'll Michael, fibula, roman coins and the Edward penny . I cracking day detecting sir. Pleasure as always to watch kind regards Ian and Connor.
Fantastic day mate, and interesting it all seems to be in an 'iron-infested' area... 🥸 Have you been working around the iron? or pulling it up? Anyways, brilliant stuff Michael, and not at all envious... 🤭 B
Working around it so far Bobby mate, bloody itching to get back in there though I can tell thee! I dug a couple of bits out of curiosity and they were tiny nails but they must be everywhere 🤷🏻 Hope your well buddy 👍👍
@@OMA_MetalDetecting Sounds fantastic mate - a true 'hot-spot' hard to come by, as you said eh?... I need to sort out 1 or 2 new perms up here tbh. ✊ The old 'black dog' has got a grip of me too tho' - but determined to shake the blighter off... 😵💫 🤣 Take care buddy 🙏🏻
@@OMA_MetalDetecting I enjoy UK detecting videos as there is so much more history as there is in Canada where I live and I rarely see a detecting video in a stream or creek. Bridges attract rubbish tossers but you may have some luck....now to find a very old stone bridge on an unused road your chances should improve immensely. Cheers!
@@OMA_MetalDetecting Even a stream near ancient sites can produce don't need a bridge, wagon/cart crossings across a flowing body of water produce finds. Also a lot of item fall from erosion along waterways. Here in Canada we can detect in a stream even in private property since our law forbids the ownership of waterways but you need to stay off the banks else you are trespassing. You may even find a few nice vintage ginger beer bottles or the soda's sought by collectors.
Well something we should all learn from this how good iron infested sites can be, obviously a lot of activity going on there and glad you picked out those gems 👍🇨🇦
What an awesome day you had. I’ll be back in the UK in October metal detecting and hoping for a Roman coin. I had a blast last year. I wouldn’t mind hearing a few more of the tones and what some of the VDI numbers are. Keep up the great work.
You and your channel has to be the best metal detecting channel on TH-cam can’t wait to see more

Great video, great finds! I wonder if there are any local streams you can detect in. Relics reside in water too!
Funny you should say this because i am hoping to shoot a video in the summer of detecting under medieval bridge so stay tuned for that one 👍👍

Yes sometimes those iron patches can be very lucrative. Not often but definitely sometimes. Thanks for watching 👍👍
This is Korea 😊
I like it because it's the same hobby
But different field conditions
Always take cares 😊
Hey 😃 thanks so much for the comment. Yes, same hobby different ground. I bet you find some interesting stuff over there. ATB 👍👍

Are you going to detectival here in the UK this year. If you are you may see me so come on over and do hi. Good luck 👍👍
A high frequency white coil and that field will come alive.
Absolutely Tony, the day they make one for the D2 I’d be all over that again like a rash! 👍👍
Interesting vblog. You have a celebrity voice 😮 I'm not sure, though, who you are 😊
Thanks! I’m just me, myself and only me (again) metal detecting 😉👍
quanto ti pagano per fare pubblicita' a quel metal 😅😅
I ask for 1 denarius, a hot wheels car and half a curly whirly per month. Problem is, I never seem to get it 😩👍
The narrating and your voice kills it for me sorry, can’t watch anymore 😩
@@andrewrichardson2706 ah that’s a shame, I would love to have had you watching every week as well, now I just hate myself and my stupid voice ☹️

Not that it happens very often for me mate but yes 🤣👍👍
